Single Player FPS
 

Waht are some good ones for either PS2 or PC that focus more on sigle player thatn multiplaer. I would prefer not military, and I would prefer it be something involving shooting huge lizard things or other such monsters.

Half-Life Series, do I really need to say why?

Prey's a pretty good FPS for PC, but Half-life is still the king of FPS'.

I have both.

Deus Ex is semi-shooter, but with RPG elements.

Area 51 has some crazy-ass monsters you shoot to death.


I'm sure at least one of them is reptilian.

Any of the Timesplitters? Call of Duty?

Gotta mentioni it, surprised no one else has: House of the Dead + CarnEvil? It's not giant lizards.. but damn is it fun.

Its a Single player shooter, with no multiplayer about a guy shooting LIZARDS!

I second Half-Life, especially numero dos. I jus' love taking the crowbar and gravity gun into Ravenholm. I also recommend Red Faction. Oh, and there's also this survival horror game where you fight your enemies in a very FPS way...

Fatal Frame. Yes, the game where you fight ghosts by taking pictures of them through a camera. But the combat IS done through FPS.
