In due time...in due time.

And I'll spoil it a bit now, and just say that the wings aren't gonna' be there long. Neither is the sword.

If he gets absolutly no benafits from it, why do it at all?

IHateMakingNames 02-09-2004 07:51 PM

No, the benifit he does get is eternal damnation... With Deamon most likely...

God is not a forgiving person. Use any religion as an example if you want, Gods are mean.

Darth SS 02-09-2004 08:01 PM

Dude, I'm catholic. We get pretty good examples of how unforgiving he can be *coughlucifercough*

And this is mostly for character development.

IHateMakingNames 02-09-2004 08:04 PM

The Bible alone is just a big story of how much of a jackass god is...

And you couldn't have thought of a better way then

Ark dies, he escapes death by picking the lock, is semi-angel, goes through some wierd phsycial/emotion/mental transformation?

Darth SS 02-09-2004 08:05 PM

Don't diss the big dude.

And it's gonna' be more like mental/emotional/physical mutilation then anything.

Truce 02-09-2004 09:15 PM

*Sigh* You know, it's not really up to me anymore. It's up to the rest of you to sort this out, because now even I'm confused.

Besides, if a bad decision is made it keeps me exempt from fault. Sorry.

Also, no religious arguments here. I'd rather not have that, and I will report them. The arguments not allowed in the rules, and fuel hate anyway.

Krylo 02-09-2004 09:35 PM

Well... it seems kinda hokey and cliched... but I really don't care so long as it doesn't effect the plot too much, or make him super powerful, or whatever.

In other words, I don't exactly approve... but my feelings aren't strong either way.

Suck it up, pretty boy. We're just gonna blame you for not taking charge anyway...

Forever Zero 02-09-2004 10:31 PM

Indeed, our fearless leader abandoned us in our time of need...

I will also say that while I don't like it, as long as it doesn't make him super powerful, I also will let it slide. BUT, if Ark comes out of this some super thief, I'm putting my plan back in (Ecurt knows what it is.).

Truce 02-09-2004 11:01 PM

Read the fineprint. Leaders are allowed to abandon responsibility over decisions that would damn him either way. :D

Anyway, this is concerning only one character. My bias over that roleplayer could affect what otherwise would be a fair verdict. So, it would be better for you guys (who would be the ones to complain if there was a big mistake made) to settle this the way you have it.

It's the simplest and best way in my opinion.
