Is any one eles waiting for Harvest Moon AWL?

If so arent you sick of these delays?....Harvest Moon Rules!!!!

God, I've been waiting for close to 3 years now! I'm sick of the delays, but if it means making the game better, I'm all for it. The way I see it is, they spent like 10 months making Harvest Moon 64.....so what's gonna come when they've had 3 years!?

Harvest Moon 64 being the most addicting game I ever played.

Harvest Moon 64 got rushed at the end so it would be out for Christmas, that's why there are many glitches and typos.

And I very much want AWL. I have FoMT for GBA. The only thing I am worried about with the Harvest Moon games getting newer and newer is that the towns and area is always made bigger. I'm always afriad I won't be able to do everything I want to in a given day because of the large areas...

Yeah

Yeah I get worried about the towns being too big also.Harvest moon Has to be the greatest series.

Kenryoku_Maxis 02-04-2004 10:04 PM

Yeah, I know 64 was rushed, but it was also a damn great game I think. And that's why I say...if Natsume can do such a good game being rushed, imagine what they can do not being rushed and taking 5 times as long!

But we'll have to see what is done. From what I've seen, a ton of it is getting changed (as in old things done in the past HM games). And for myself, I personally own HM 64, FomT and have played the PSX and SNES one. Surprisingly, I think FomT might be even better than the 64 one, but I have been distracted and haven't been playing it enough. I'm only on year 2, Summer. Damn Fire Emblem, Disrega and my writing. DAMN YOU ALL!!

I liked the premise of it, until I went back and tried the original GameBoy Harvest Moon 2 I think it was. It was fun for a while, but it quickly became repetitive and boring and dull. I hated not having enough time to do everything I wanted and it took forever to build everything up including your house and farm. Sprinklers always appeared too late in the game for me to make any use of them.

I thought I would like that game, so I bought it...and hated it.

harvest moon must have some subliminal messages in it. I really never thought a game where you spend time farming(C'mon you know that sounds like a lame idea for a game), would get me addicted for a month or so

I've been waiting for it since 64.

..Except I don't have a cube. Alas. But it's not like surviving off 64 & BTN & maybe even the ps2 one is a daunting task.

IHateMakingNames 02-04-2004 10:12 PM

I know, who would have thought that farming simulation could be so fun and addicting. I can imagine the meeting for this game...

"Okay, we're going to make a game were you... Are a farmer, and you grow crops and raise animals. And it takes many days for this to happen!"
"... Your fired."

Personally, I'm waiting for Harvest Moon Online to be done. An indie game being made, it sounds really cool. However, since I don't know when it will be done, this sounds pretty good too, I've been waiting for a new good Harvest Moon since N64, but heard the PS2 one was just okay, and I haven't been interested in the GB versions.
