ooc: we are on a ship heading out of port.....if you don't mind a suggestion, you could have been sleeping on board, and the change in crew doesn't faze you or something. or we could fight, whatever works.

"STOP!!!" Li commanded as soon as the sails were set. "Captain! The sails are set and we are ready to make sail!"

She smirks. "All right then, Li." She then turns to the others. "Men, Let's set sail!"

"Right. You do that. In the meantime, I'll be...in a hammock. Have fun, you two, and keep your...never mind." And Kane begins to limp below deck, but stops to look into a stack of crates that seem to be freshly loaded. He pulls out his parrying knife, sticks it in, withdraws his knife and attached cantaloupe, and slowly heads down.

"Kane, get your lazy ass up here!" She yells. "You've still got work to do boy!" She grabs her bags and looks to Li. "I'll be in the Captain's Cabin changning my clothes. You take the ship for now."

"A) I'm likely within 10 years of your age, Slick and B) Go fuck yourself. I'm going to sleep."

After clubbing Stover many many times with his staff, he returned to speak to Lucretia.

"As you would have it luv, though if you were to need any ah... assistance, I would be more than happy to oblige." He said flashing a rougueish wink.

She glares at him and slaps him across the face. "If I would ask anybody for assistance, I would ask Kane... " She said, smiling. She then made her way down to the Captain's cabin.

Kane dodged some of Li's blows, and blocked others with is cantalouped knife, and generally did pretty well for a man who wasn't having a good day. Untill, that is, Li's staff struck the cantaloupe and split it perfectly along the knife. Kane laughed weakly and said "Well gee tha--" and took a stiff jab in the stomach.

On the ground, Kane wispers to himself: "No witty banter when fighting. Right. I got it now." Then he stabs half of the cantaloupe and slowly makes his way below deck.

"well somebody needs to be at the helm. Setting the sails doen't seem too difficult, why don't you do it Li? kane can bugger off, but as a zen master said "A day without work is a day without food" i hope he enjopys his cantalope, because unless i see him helping above deck, I am not fixing him anything. And he doesn't know where I put the fresh water."
He worked his way to the helm and looks east
"Are we headed east?"

She walks out of her cabin in a white French naval uniform. She ties back her hair and sticks it under her coat's collor, so she wouldn't look too much like a woman. She wanted to look as much like a man as she could, which she knew would be a bit difficult. She puts on her captain's hat and makes her way to the monk. She puts a hand on the monk's shoulder and points out to the horizon. "Yup, we're heading east." She then takes her compass out and shows it to the monk. "My grandfather gave me this before he was hung. Here..." She hands him the compass. "I'm sure you know how to use one. Just be carefull with it. I'll let you hang onto it for a while."

"Thank you for this honor. Compasses posses a noteable symbolism in my trade, but such a dear one shall be recieve the best treatment." he puts the compass in his robe. "It is safe with me. Why east? If I may ask. I am told there is nothing east but an endless sea. Allthough in my order we have information that would suggest otherwise."

"No, no, there's stuff in the east all right." Kane reappears at the door to the lower decks, still using his sword as a cane. He walks over to the cantaloupe crate, and pulls out two this time. "These things are pretty good. But the real question here is: what is in the east that I care about? Actually, the real question is where do these things come from? I might need to go there some time."

She rolls her eyes and shows Kane her uniform. "See Kane, look closely. This is a French Naval unifrom. It is one of my favorite ones. Now, why would I be wearing a French uniform and be going east. Hmn, what could be there?" She says a bit sarcastically.

"I asked you what is in the east that I cared about, Slick."

(Wait, isn't America in the way?)

"I am guessing that frenchia, or wherever the French live is in the east. This will be exciting, I have never been to such a place before and I know no monastic protocals of my order that would stop me from going. "

ooc: Okay, we half to go east to sail below South America because there is no Panama Canal yet, and the Western United States really has nothing.

Sir, we're going to sail under South America to make it towards Africa. There, we will find some French merchent ships carying treasures from Africa back to France. As well as some Spanish and hopefully British ships. We'll be able to find many treasures, and earn ourselves very very nice reputations within the........ "community' "

"...so, you're dressing..." Kane clutches his forehead "oh wow, little...little headache there...ok. I'm better now. Hoo boy. Wow, ok. So...you're dressing up 5 months ahead of time in order to show any passing naval vessel of any nationality that were are a French national ship with...what...5 people on it?" Kane sits down on a barrel and starts eating his cantaloupe. "But I'm curious: what if I don't want to have this particular reputation in this 'community'?"

"Jesus, I need to sleep."

She smiles and does a little twirl. "No, i just put this one on because it's the cutest on me. Anyway.... there are still going to be ships coming, right? America, Brittain, France, and Spain are all allies right now. As long as we look like we're French, we should be in the clear. The other ships will feel safe enough to come closer. That's how i've gotten all the ships in my past." She goes up to him and whispers in his ear. "I thought you might have remembered the routine, i mean, you have seen it before." She backs away with a slight smile on her face, she then heads to the sails.

Kane sighs. "Do you enjoy that? Haveing fun twisting the knife in my back,so to speak?" Struggling to keep his sarcastic and superior tone: "'cause, you know, you've long since run me right through." Another sigh.

"But what is much more important is finding what in your little head makes you think you, a Japanese monk, and a druken jackass can take on the 90 men of a merchant ship and me."

"Sir, when I first met Li (which would be when his ship was sinking) I had but 10 men on board..... and one lady (me). We took his ship down with ease. Oh, and sir, I've already taken on you, you're basically no threat." She walks towards him again and smiles. "Although, you were a bit of fun." She says winking. She then walks back to the sails.

ooc; I am interested in seeing how she plans to convinve me to go along with this. and if she can do it without lying.

"There goes that knife again. Still haveing fun, or are you just trying to spite me?"

ooc: What? hey, i haven't lyed....... yet. But, i'll find some way!

IC: Her expression becomes more serious. "It's just a bit of fun, don't take it personally now." She smiles again and puts her hand on his shoulder. "What's done is done and is now in the past. It's something we must live with." She pulls out a small dagger from the inside of her coat and hands it to him. "I gave the monk my grandfather's compass, and I want you to have this. My father gave this to me before....... before he was killed. I trust you'll take care of it." She then turns to the monk and places her hand on his shoulder. "And you, what's your problem?"

"Wha...wait...what th...uh....the hell? Past? Past? Oh no no no no, it might be in the past for you, but not for me, oh no. You have someone carve some letters in your back and let it get infected for 3 months and see how long you remeber it. And this knife...what the hell? Hell, I think I'll just stick it in your back!" With a look of pure rage, Kane flips the knife around, gets ready to throw it, and stops. He tries to throw it, but for some reason, he can't bring himself to do it. With a defeated sigh, he walks back to the door below decks. "Holy shit...I need to sleep. Here, " he grabs Lucretia's hand, and puts the knife in it, "I already have a couple of knives...and I don't need...another one. Jesus, I'm tired. And confused...can't forget that." And he walks through the door below decks.

"Today just wasn't my day, was it?" he thinks aloud. "Well...there's always tomorrow, I suppose."

(And I'm going to bed.)

"Look laddie buck. I may be a drunk and I may be a jackass. But I know more about manuevering, commandeering, and sinking vessels than any other man out there. I'm only perhaps rivaled by yon beauty.
"In one week I sacked the entire northern isle of old japan back there. I had an armada! We were about to make this self-same voyage up to the carribean. If there's any chance of gettin' back me ships it'll be there. You're just here for the ride and the loot." He then turned to Lucretia. "That is our eventual destination right luv?"

IC: Hikiro Kyamoto shook his head to ward off the sleepiness and looked around. It was still the same old hold he had been hiding in the last few days. He was too frugal to spend money on travel and considering he was a ninja it seemed all too easy to sneak aboard a ship. He poked his head over the top of a crate he had been hiding behind and did a quick bit of recon to see if anyone was coming. He heard footsteps and reached for his Ninja-To in case things got hectiv

The monk Sou-Rita looked down down aat the femminite hand that rest upon his soldier and made the mental motion as a celibate that a rock climber does when he looks down.
Lady Lucretia, all this talk of.....nautical banditry, which I would assume is piracy, makes me uneasy. I have spoken to many people on the other side of the law, I have been one of them myself on occasion, so i wont bore you with the cliche' "you wont get away with this." Im sure you are all very capable with gettig away with this. But no one can escape kara, and so i am looking out for you just as much as I am looking out for your victems, trust me when I say that this is not in your best interests. Please consider the alternatives........."
He trails off.
He picks up again
"I took an oath A life long, unbreakable oath that is as real as these tatoos" He points to his tattoed arms "IFrom what I have recently learned of piracy, I cannot undertake it without breaking my oath."

She shakes her head and starts hitting herself in the head with the flat side of her sword. "What, kind, of, crew, did, i ,pick, up..... stupid, stupid, stupid." She then looks at Li. "Great comander? I saw your ship and within an hour I had it seized. It would have been mine if you didn't bloody sink it! Although, I will assure you that destroying your own ship so that it doesn't go into the hands of another means you have the heart of a comander.... i suppose." She turns to Sou-Rita. "I can't make you do anything..... only because i don't have the heart to hurt you. You've yet done anything to piss me off yet. The only think i as you to do is what we ask you to do on this ship. I will then gladly pay you for your work. I won't ever ask you to fire a musket, sword fight, nor fight in any kind of battle, unless it is by your own free will. Now, if you two would excuse me, i'm going to climb the crows nest to see what i can see."

"Hey, luv in case you didn't notice the crew was drunk as all hell!" He yelled up after her. "I'm not so good with people as you are as has been made evident as my crew was drunk and yours was trained killers to the core. But I can assure you, I'm at least your equal in manuevering ship, staff, and sword. How else did I bring about the ship and sink us both all by me onesome lassie?" He said lifting an eyebrow.

She pauses as she climbs up and looks down at him. "You want to manuever the damn ship, go ahead. Let's just say I give you the ship for... oh say... a week. You'll be Captain, and i'll be just another member of the crew. I won't interferre with your work. But after that week, i get my ship back, and we'll let the men decide who they want as Captain." She is very pissed at this point, which could be seen by the expression on her face and heard my the annoyance in her voice.

Hikiro peeked his head over the crate again. A small gust of wind blew the door open a bit more. He shook his head dismissing his nervous thoughts and crept toward the door. He poked his head around the door to check for crew members and such. realising the coast was clear, he began stealthily movong down corridors towards the deck

She gets to the crows nest and looks around, seeing absolutly nothing of interest. All that could be seen was the horizon. She became bored with watching and made her way down, using the ropes to make the trip faster. She passes Li, practically pushing him out of the way. "Where the hell is Kane." She said to herself. She opened the door that lead to below the deck. Making her way down, she saw a shadow moving. She unsheaths her saber. "Kane? Who gos there?"

Hikiro quickly scuttles into a room seeing a female figure at the end of the hallway. He stands just inside the door with his back to the wall and a hand on his Ninja-To. he whispers to himself.
"alright, Hikiro time to show them why ninjas are considered to be so dangerous"

She holds her saber up to his neck and covers his mouth with her hand. "Well, what do we have here?" She laughs and points to a door on the side of the room. "All these room are connect smartass. And i suggest that when i take my hand off your mouth you give me a very good excuse why you're on my ship." She removes her hand.

OOC: Please don't be mad for calling you a smartass. My character's mean to everyone. *hugs*

Hikiro smiled within himself as he indicated to his Tanto dagger pointing towards her heart

Sensing somethingm the monk Sou-Rita inexplicably ties the ships wheel in place. he goes down below decks and sees a dark figure being manhandles by Lucrutia.
"who is this?" he asks.

(Greetings again....)
(And you can try to be a smartass, but you'll never beat me! Ever! Hahaha! Ok, I'm done now)

"You know, if you kill her, I'll give you a shiney nickle. Hell, it'll be hers, too. How's that for irony, eh Slick? You never did say whether you minded me calling you Slick. Not that it matters, because...well...I don't really care."

Lucrutia smiles at the man and moves the dagger away from her heart with her finger. She leans close to him and whispers. "We'll have none of that now, I think I get the point." She turns to Sou-Rita. "Looks like we've got a stoleaway. Well, you're the monk, it's against the law to stoleaway on a ship, isn't it? So, what do we do? Depending on what he's done to the ship...... we'd have to keep him as a prisoner, wouldn't we, Sou-Rita?" She smiles, waiting for his answer. She then looks at Kane. "Go to...." She stops herself when she remember the monk was in the room too. "Kane, just be quiet for now."

"Hey...hmmm....how about....uh...no? Yeah, that sounds good. Either way, you didn't answer my question. You're really good at doing that, aren't you?"

Hikiro watched as a monk decided to join the fray. This by far was the worst idea I've ever had. He considered his options and looked around the room

She raises an eyebrow. "Doing what?" She walks over to Kane and puts her hand on his shoulder. "Listen, we should try and get along. Right?"

Hikiro utilised his momentary freedom to conjour up a column of water and send them flying across the room before making a break for the deck.

"He's dead!" Chases after him with her saber at hand. She grabs her father's dagger and throws it up towards the man, passing him and going right into the door infront of the stoleaway. "If you think i'm going to let you go without a fight, you're sadly mistaking."

(They had magic in feudal Japan? Wow, I missed something...)

"You know, I've never seen that before. I suppose we'll... 'talk' later?" Kane draws out his rapier.

Hikiro ducks a saber and keeps running finially making it to the deck. He was hoping they were still mored but the 360 degree of open ocean said otherwise. He was now perched precariously on the end of the yard arm watching several rather annoyed, saturated people charging towards him. This was definately not a situation he liked to be in.

She stops herself on deck and smirks. "So, now what are you planning to do?" She crosses her arms and waits for a response.

Kane puts away his rapier and walks after the ninja. As he walks along, he pulls out both hand crossbows and disassembles them. By the time he arrives at the door above deck, he has taken apart both hand crossbows and combinded them into one larger one, along with the making 4 regular crossbow bolts out of 8 smaller ones.. He loads one, holds the others in his left hand, and shoulders the crossbow.

"Move and I kill you. And don't test me, I'm not having a good day."

OOC: yeah, Ninja magic. very famous. Ninjas can call up the five leemnts, including the mysterious void elelment.
IC: comming up behind the Ninja in what would apear to be telportation (no one saw him move from the fray downstairs to topside) the monk sticks two fingers into the ninjas neck at very precise spot, cutting off his Ki, which should make him go unconscience.
"Its not law i folow its morality, to put into one term. I think it would be fair if we made him join our crew while we cross the great ocean. no one gets a free ride in life. there is a whole crates of foodstuffs that need cutting and peeling."

"If I'd have known I could see shit like this with only 3 hours of sleep, I'd...probably get more sleep."

Hikiro felt two fingers dig into his neck before everything went black. When he woke up he was in the hold again this time in front of a open box of unpeeled potatos. He clenched his teeth. Someone's going to pay for this.
