Comic's the right size.

Mirai Gen 04-13-2007 05:28 PM

Then I'm going to go out on a limb and veto that rule. The comic's format is fine so far, and that's the only complaint I've heard as of yet.

Also: the Links page works now. If you have other forums that you want to link to RID in (by the way: you do), now you can use this image tag:

Good Comic today Mirai. Except Cannonball in panels 2 and 3 look a bit...awkward.

I was trying to figure out how to convey movement with pictures I had already taken, and SWB suggested dust clouds.

Since I'm not a whiz at Road Runner and Wile E Ceyote physics, I had to settle for that.

I like today's dialogue alot though. Once summer rolls around I think I'm going to move up to Monday/Wendsday/Saturday update schedule.

First of, funny stuff, I think this hold potential.

Secondly, there's some error on the webpage, when pressing the next comic button when viewing the star power comic I get to the wii-comic, all is well. But when pressing the next comic button again I return to the star power comic. I can still move on with the archive, but I feel it was worth mentioning.

And thirdly, are you considering using other toys than transformers?
I mean there's a Gullever's travels setup if you use lego's.

Keep up the good work!

In response to your first question, I'm not sure. Try doing the usual cleanup for your browser, including cookies and browser cache. It works fine for me, but I'm also on Firefox. Lemme try it on IE.

Nope, IE runs it just fine. Nikose is the admin/server, so I act just like a client, so I can't say what the problem is.

In response to your other question? Sky Warrior Bob - my 'Gabe,' to me, the 'Tycho' - and I talked about this briefly, and I don't think I will. I have a few Spider Man toys that I'd like to include, but it'd break the whole Transformers-central thing if I were to do so. Given the fact that it's a roommates non-sequitor comedy, I'm sticking in the realms of Transformers for now.

However, that doesn't fully answer your question, so let me elaborate: I do have a few Stikfas that I've assembled, when I buy a few more I'm going to get them clothing and they will take the part of the generic humans for the comic. It'll make it much easier to work.

I had tampered with the ideas of Legos for a while, but I felt like part of the appeal of RID was the more interesting posability (sp? I hate the Firefox spellchecker) of the TFs. It would really break it if I didn't have a certain level of posability for the generic humans too, and stikfas work wonders in that aspect.

Gabe! Pah!

Personally, I consider myself the Harlan Ellison (except, not as good, or talented) to his JMS (okay, so I'm just padding his ego here). Harlan, was just a creative consultant on B5, never wrote anything. For the most part, except for a few comic ideas regarding Cannonball (who I kinda pushed on Mirai, as he's apparently pretty popular in the Transfan community, plus he's a freakin' Pirate!). Mostly, I throw out an occasional joke here & there, and prod him in story directions. (Of course, he ignores my best one, claiming he's saving it for another occasion.)

So being a lazy, 2nd guesser pretty much covers it.

Also, I've been pretty useful in helping pad out the cast. Both in suggestions, and I did make a donnation or two. After seeing them in action in some of the Eyeson animations, I also thought Stikfas (the credits of Prime Time 2 shows a few in action) fit the bill as far as what Mirai wanted in his comic. (I just wish they weren't so non-descript. Or of good ways to add a little character to them.)

I spent my spring vacation from college relaxing, I'm hoping to spend some time later with an arts and crafts day for myself. I have personalities to put into my Stikfas, starting with clothing.

EDIT: I found the problem about the comics repeating after Playing Wii. For some reason, two of the comics were posted at the same date, so they overlapped each other and they would 'next' to one another. Problem fixed.

Parker website hits the 90,000 mark, and Mirai celebrates with a new comic.

I could claim I'm doing this because I'm so proud of Mirai & Parkercomics. But no, I'm just going to complain that this is keeping me from attempting to TF Masterpiece Megs back into robot mode.
