The Warring States of NPF - Ultimate Destiny (Signup)

[Story = Medievil Time-ish Setting]

There was no warning, just sudden death. Any wars the multitude of peoples and races were having were immediatly overshadowed by the brute force and relentless power of the Demonic Horde. With seemingly infinite numbers, they swept across the world, destroying anything that was in their way. Only with the combined forces of all the worlds armies and all the mages was the Horde kept at bay, but their regenerating numbers had to be dealt with.

A small group of the most elite of the elite was sent through the Horde to its center, where it found that a opened portal to a dark Universe was pumping there world full of the demons. Somehow, this small group closed the portal.

*Fast Forward = Many Many Generations and Eons*

The Horde and the so called 'Demon War' are thought to be merely pipedreams. The heroes who sealed the portal are mere fantasies now, stories to tell the kiddies. The Mages are now only thought of as weapons, safe from torment only with their own.

Demons still wander, though small in number and eternally hunted. For many years they have been waiting...and some feel that very soon, what they have been waiting for might happen...

Thats basically the story. It'll start off with all of us going to a tournament, but from their the story will escalate and so on and so forth.

Anyways, heres the nitty-gritty:

Races:
Human- Yadda Yadda,we all know about these.
Kurik- Big Humans (smallest is about 6'7). Live mostly in mountains. Strong.
Nievn- Wood Dwellers. Know lots about herbs and nature. Good fighters.
Avion- Human-looking with wings and taloned feet. Agile. Some can fly, all can jump high.

And you can make up your own race I guess. If you do want to be a Demon, you better have a good reason why...

Classes can be anything. A Note about Mages though:

There are only thirty (30) mages in the entire world. That inlcudes White and Black and Red and Blue...Magic is something someone is born with, not learned. For this reason, I don't want half the group to be Mages, or for someone to be a Warrior that can also use magic. Also, Mages tend to be specialized, so if you pick a Mage, specify if your magic is 'wide' range or specific (only fire, ice, whatever).

Of course, this doesn't mean that if your not a mage your limited to just hacking and slashing. I'll allow for things like 'Sword-Arts' or stuff like that (slicing a sword so fast you create a shockwave for example), plus, a resident Mage can always help out (like Vivi and Steiner if FF9)...
