They know best

Everyone knows what I mean. You will meet that one person (or people) who always claims to be right, despite having awful oppinions (NPF Forums are bad Stephen, your not a gamer if you dont play WoW Stephen, PS3 sucks Stephen) who were some of the people you'ne met that always have to voice their oppinions, and said oppinions are ridiculous or just plain annoying.

Oh, god. I know someone who is EXACTLY the way you mean. See, he comes from a rich family (rich through inheritance) and his parents are rather intelligent... but he seems to have missed out on it somewhere. Still, he assumes that his genes make him better than everyone else, and he tries very hard to force his opinions on everybody. One time recently, I was trying to get my friends over to play WarioWare: Smooth Moves after renting it for the first time. I didn't know at this point that he was trying to get the same people to go to iPlay, the nearby network gaming lounge.

I was trying to talk to him and explain why I thought it was a good idea to come here (it's free, it's something new, it's something everyone would probably enjoy) as opposed to iPlay (it costs 25 bucks for an evening, we do it almost every weekend, only him and one other person actually go there for the games and not the "peer pressure" factor). In response to the weekly thing, he said that it was a tradition. In response to the peer pressure thing, he bravely denied that anyone disliked it, speaking for absolutely everyone (yes, specifically including me) when he said that the whole group loved going there. And when I brought up the price, he literally told me to "get a fucking job."

I now hate this guy.

My best friend always tells me these crazy theories/truths, and when I try and make him give me his sources he merely says "If you think about it..." or "look it up." Damn that's annoying...

And who said NPF Forums are bad? You should get them with the Wiffle Bat of Doom.

EDIT: and did I mention that he refuses any opposing arguments, stating that "an article said that wasn't true, I've read up on it."

Hey Kerensky287, please tell me you rammed some form of sweet justice on him... He sounds like a giant ass.

Christ, I know exactly what you fucking mean! I know a guy just like that. And he might have some really old game or something cheap, something he hasn't touched in years, and I'll be like "Is it cool if I have that?" and he'll be all "You can buy it from me." Jesus, stop trying to get me to pay you when I use your crap, you're rich, you don't need it anyway (and he gets really offended whenever anyone says he's rich, even though he is). And you still have my damn copy of Advance Wars, so you don't even get to talk.

I... KINDA know where this guy's coming from, being stingy with money (I think it's genetic or something), but it depends on the game. I personally would let my friends borrow any old game I have, but I would reserve the right to borrow it back if I felt like it. Except for a few cases; I've moved twice in the past few years, and I left all my friends gifts from my personal belongings.

And yes, he should give you your damn copy of Advance Wars.

@FBM: This guy frequently gets what's coming to him. From everyone I know. He can't push anyone around because we've all had enough of it. Even his parents took the door off his room so he would stop slamming it. True story.
