Not my intention, surely! Just some stupid hijackers

I do a lot of geeky things. I used to be big into BESM, 2nd Edition. I still occasionally watch Power Rangers if the series seems decent (like SPD), but not as much as Super Sentai. I've picked up a small understanding of Japanese from watching Dairanger alone. I want to write my own comic, and have some base graphics. I want to write long fiction and have a bunch of base characters and plots. I want to program a video game and have a lot of ideas for cinematics and costumes. I'll never accomplish any of the above three because I can't decide on the details. I learned Latin for gaming purposes. The only constructive things I can say are "where's the fire/water?" and "please God, guard my flight," which is only useful if you're in an airplane. Or about to do something very stupid. In class, I've referenced scientific theory and FF7 in the same period. I've studied Chinese elements/feng shui a bit, and could list their main properties from memory. I'm taking a programming class and am getting more and more confused by it because it uses a GUI instead of pure code. I was formerly a pharmacy student, but I honestly know more about holistic medicine. I've studied psychic power and the paranormal. This is despite my being Catholic, which classes it all as evil except for angels. And I disagree with that interpretation of my faith, because I know a lot of what it originally said and what got corrupted by time or mistranslation. I spent several minutes typing this that I should have spent printing homework.

Nerdiest thing I've done? Sign up for 4 AP classes next year, 2 of which are math, and 2 of which are science.

Geekiest? Hard to say, I have those "geeky" moments all the time with my friends, so I have no idea which one of them is geekier than others.

I think I've applied the d20 system for just about everything in my life for far more than is truly acceptable.

Oh! I own the Legend of Zelda cartoon on DVD.

There's always my Autobot tattoo, and it's hard to be much geekier than that.

Ah, I own two different types of shirts - my nerd shirts, and my hawaiian shirts. Nerd shirts include, but are not limited to, the Church of Prime, "Robots in Disguise", an NES pad with "Back In The Day" on it, the Monty Python Black Knight shirt, etc.

I've got one somewhere that says "I live in my own little world, but it's okay, they know me here." I've also got one with the Thundercats logo. My grandpa has vintage Thundercats, Back to the Future, and possibly Transformer tees. He'd probably make a fortune on Ebay, but I'd call first dibs if he ever was getting rid of them.

Occasionally, when I get a new game, I will steer EVERY conversation towards it.

"Oh, man. I forgot to do my homework last night." "I did my homework. But afterwards I played Mechassault Phantom War. Have you played it? It's awesome."

It's like that article I found once, "How to brag that you're training for an Ironman." Except that it's with new video games.

Speaking of which, Mechassault Phantom War? Awesome. Not as good as the Xbox version, but it's good for a handheld. Discuss. (actually, don't.)

XD

I'm assuming that was at least half as a joke, but I know what you mean. I was like that with Oblivion for a while. It really is a good game, but my copy does some funky things, like bringing out enemies I'm not sure it's supposed to at my level. :sweatdrop

I think the geekiest thing I've done to date involved me bombing an interview, then telling my mother, "I think I failed my charisma check." :(

Geekier still, she knew what I was talking about!

(What can I say? My mom's awesome like that.)

I was at Red Robins with a couple friends and we all had a 20 sided die each...we rolled on who got the last french fry...
