Kirin was perched on top of some boxes throughout the escapade and was rolling with laughter.
You shot him, right in the arm!!! HAHAHAHAHAHooop! as he tumbled off the boxes, catlike reflexes a little slow on the uptake, leaving him splayed out on his side, still giggling madly ooohh, I remember when I was a little punk like them...ooh, that's painful..ah!...cat's having no mercy, don't give him any...why don't you listen? |
OOC: Now the students have a story to tell, about how the janitor went insane and attacked a class. It also gives my guy a reason to be out for a while (Getting healed), while I wait for my new computer to arrive, because I hate this crappy little desktop I have to use.

(OOC: whoops, Rena was gonna come help/stop the madness, but I was busy finishing up my picture. ^^;; )
"Uh oh." Rena muttered, she was having fun watching Aple-pi kick the student's butts, but now she had a bad feeling that he might get fired now. <Well, even though he did overreact, he doesn't deserve to get fired. I would have done the same thing if I had all of those students coming after me.> Never one to usually sit by and stay quite, she sighed and headed outside. She waited for a moment where the teachers weren't agruing and spoke up, being respectful as she usual was, "Um. Not to mean any disrespect, but I saw the most of it, and they really didn't have a right to use him as a 'dummy' without his consent, and if he would have agreed, knowing what he was getting into, I'm sure he would have reacted differently." She frowned, "He doesn't even have the proper protective gear on." (OOC: yeah I know Rena's getting into other people's business, but I'm bored and she's been sitting around doing nothing for too long. >_<;;; heheh. IHMN you can decide weither you still are in big trouble or not, she was just voicing her opinion on the matter.) |
He fell into a stance as he glanced left and right, waiting for them to make the first move. He had heard how dangerous these demons were, despite having been labelled weak. Like I need to prove I'm incompetent in front of Mentor Zek.
He remained stiff, hardly breathing as a minute passed by with neither side making a move. Another minute passed, and then another. I don't get this, why are they hesitating? They seemed ready to challenge a bunch of cadets earlier, and now they outnumber me five to one. Something is wrong, but more importantly I can't keep waiting in here. What are they waiting for? Several more minutes would pass until he got his answer, but when he did he suddenly felt sorry that he had asked. Oh...damn. It appeared that the sixth and final demon, previously unnoticed, had woken up. He guessed that sometime, after the battle but before he had arrived, that the particular demon he had stared at had had a massive growth spurt, because if it had been like this earlier the Guardians would have simply killed it. Double it's normal size, which was just over his own height, the normally felinish demon was not bigger than usual it also had a couple long whip-like tentacles on it's head. I'm guessing that that will have to be my specimen. The "specimen" apparently had become the leader of the other demons, which explained why the others had waited, and now it seemed to wish to challenge him, the newcomer. The fact that the demon seemed confident enough to duel him alone made him a bit afraid. Normally demons worked together if they were weak. That only confirms my suspicions...we're in some deep shit. Especially me. He still had his plan though, and he needed to rely on it right now. It's not that much bigger than me. The plan could still work. He motioned the beast to come closer. "Here kitty kitty." The specimen, seeming to understand his challenge, lunged forward to attack him. Now, let me inform you of Toma's plan. The first step was to seperate one demon from the rest, which was simple, seeing as the demon did this itself. The second step was to goad it to attack. The third step would be to manipulate his Wind Spirit and increase it's forward momentum greatly enough to send it flying out the door. There was one problem...with a smaller demon he could do the final step while at the same time managing to avoid it. However, this demon was larger than average, so large that he had to let it crash into him, or else he wouldn't be able to get it into the corridor. You know...this is going to hurt. "Mentor Zek!" he yelled as he and the creature tumbled together out of the room. "Close the door, quick! Don't let any of the others out!" He didn't bother paying attention to see if Zek was doing as he asked, he needed to subdue his specimen, and quick. |
Zek was actually shocked to see the student come flying out, fighting with a demon more massive then any from earlier. However, his combat instincts came back, and after throwing in a quick fireball to force the demons away, he quickly slammed and locked the door back in place. There were sounds of thumping as the demons tried to break it down, but that door could supposedly keep a rock golem at bay, so he wasn't worried about some demons breaking through. He quickly turned back to the struggling student to watch the fight, and he would have tried to help, but they were now so close together fighting, that he couldn't risk an attack that would effect the demon, since any spell that might stun it would have a much worse effect on the student.

An ounce of disinfectant, 15 self-woven stitches, 4 bandages, two hot compresses, and two hours of rest later, Kane's accidental self-inflicted gunshot had 'never happened.' Thus he was walking up and about, not leaning to one side, and certainly not checking bandages under his shirt--his stomach just itched, that's all.
He walked onto the small courtyard where the janitor had beat the crap out of the new class. He walked up to Renna, straitening his hat, as the teachers were discussing what they should do. "So...think the Janinator is going to get fired? Personally, I think he should be given a medal or something for kicking all those kids' asses, mostly because they had it coming. And that that student with the rifle should go sit in a corner for missing at 20 feet." |
The teachers were to busy fuming over what Aple-pi did to really pay attention to Rena.
She sighed as Kane walked up, "Yeah, it looks bad for Mr. Aple-pi. The teachers don't seem willing to listen to any student's opinions." |
Ueleg was sitting at a table in the middle of the room examining his sample of demon hide. This time he had actually finished his soup before starting his tinkering, as to prevent having to wash anything else.
The strange purplish skin was supple to the touch despite its incredible ability to deflect blows from swords and such. He looked around at the surrounding group and began prodding the piece of hide with vera flows. It was amazing. The hide would turn them to the side or absorb them, one flow actually bounced off and back into him. Then an idea piqued in his mind. He fed a cutting form of healing energy into the hide. What happened next he could not have predicted in his wildest dreams. |
"'Course, the standard operating procedure for teachers is to assume the students are wrong....wait, Mr. Applepie? A bad-ass janitor...named...Applepie? ...wow....
"Hmm...looks like they might come to a conclusion soon." Kane pulled out a small blue die. "Even or odds?" |
Bored again after seeing Catenan hauled off to be reprimanded, the practically hyperactive Kirin ran up to his dorm and retrieved his bow for a little target practice, passing through the courtyard on his way as he fixed his quiver to his hip, not minding Kane and Rena for the time being, though instinctively glancing at her again as he passed through the archway leading to the target range.
Damn I'm bored, It's been what, 10 minutes since all that went down...10 MINUTES! Long time to just sit around... |
