Wait, what? An MST3K-ified movie becoming a game?

I'm sorry, did I miss something here? Are they really making a video game, which is based off of an italian movie that MST3K ripped a new one for their final episode?

Yes...yes they are.

I am speechless.

That is just.... so wrong. I'm sure it's something that people in Italy will dig, but I'm just gonna look at it and think, "Where the hell is Tom Servo?!"

Mirai Gen 02-22-2007 03:38 PM

And I will meanwhile think "Starring this Muslim woman!" every time Diabolik's face shows up.

notasfatasmike 02-22-2007 03:47 PM

That was a really great episode. They ended on a bang.

I miss that show.

I doubt I'd play a game based on this movie, though.

ElfLad 02-22-2007 03:49 PM

Man, they need to make a video game out of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

Mirai Gen 02-22-2007 06:23 PM

Or Invasion of the Neptune Men.

Come on, after that movie, you can't really get much worse.

Sky Warrior Bob 02-22-2007 07:50 PM

Just on a guess, in Italy, Diabolik might just be a decent comic series, that ended up with a horrible, horrible movie. Like the Swamp Thing movies.

Confirmed.

See, assumptions make an ass out of you & me, but mostly just you. Actually, entirely you. :D

But rash judgements are so much more fun!

Lord of Joshelplex 02-22-2007 10:51 PM

Well, if there is 1 movie that needs a game, Motha fuckin sankes on a motha fuckin plane! Cause I just watched it and I may have hurled a somwhat important organ after watching that crapdi gras

crapdi gras, genius...

POS Industries 02-22-2007 11:43 PM

And before MST3K got to it, it was the basis for a video to the Beastie Boys' "Body Movin'"

Which, of course, was my first reaction upon seeing the MST3K episode for it. "So.... they're riffing on a music video?"
