Alrighties...

First off, Masterpiece Megatron's box. Yay!

Of course, that makes the prospect of getting him sans orange cap, less likely. Also, it has come to light that Takara will be making a US safe version of Megatron, what that will be or even what it'll be like, you're guess is as good as mine. It does mean that Hasbro will be likely releasing Megatron to the states themselves, in some fashion.

However, I just hope this doesn't cause any problems with importing directly from Takara, as me & my pre-order will be pissed.

Oh, and pictures for the Rumble & Frenzy earphones for the Soundwave MP3 player have come out. Not nearly as good looking, IMO. But I guess I'll wait until the final paint applications before I make final judgement.

ok I know I will feel like an idiot. But what do they mean by, plugs?

See, part of US law requires that all toy guns made & imported into the US need a blaze orange plug at the end of the barrel. Try to buy a toy gun at any toy store, and you'll be hard pressed to find something different. (I don't know when the law went into effect, but I think its sometime after the rash of Cops shooting kids running around w/ Laser Tag guns at night.)

Thus, importers of Japan's Masterpiece Megatron are self installing their own orange plug. A number of people, given the $99 price point of Masterpiece Megs, complain about this addition, as MM looks so good w/out the plug.

As for me, I've just opted to bit the bullet & see what I get. Although, I hope the glue on my plug is a bit substandard. But that's just between you & me.

well I can understand that from a safety standpoint. But I think its abit dumb to make it a law.

Dunno if this has been posted already, the cars that will be used in the movie.

The advertising company my dad works for is currently designing the DVD box art for Transformers -- he's the Creative Director who's leading the whole project.

This means that I may, in fact, be able to view the Transformers film, free of charge -- or at least read the script -- months before the film's theatrical debut.

I'll be sure to brag all about it if this actually happens, but I won't reveal a damn thing. Because then, well, it would really ruin my ability to lord it over you all (and my dad would get fired, but that's really just a secondary consideration).

I'm going to sit and simply believe it will be good. From what I've heard through various sites, like the proverbial Elias crusing Cars To Bots dot com, I will hope the Transformers movie is going to be totally awesome.

Well, he could see it, and having it blow complete ass and a waste of 2 hours, decide that we should feel the same pain he did and tell us it was the awesomest movie ever. Then we get all anticipated about it, go see it opening night, and find out it sucks. THEN you can ban him for lying.
