First, and most unlikely, maybe it just needs some fresher MUGEN. The base client is here. HERE

The other solution may be that it needs to be re-put together again. I'll try to freshen up the screenpack and look over the code this weekend.

In the meantime you could always do what I do to amuse myself. Take the base client and try out characters one by one. Takes a while, but you can find some gems that way.

Yeah, I was thiking of putting it together myself again too. But I remember back in the day I had so much trouble being able to do that even with a program that was suppose to just be copy and paste the stage name or character name from the folder into the command code. It wouldn't ever end up in the actual visable select box in the MUGEN game when I went to pick the character but off screen somewhere.

The other problem I'm hoping its not is that my computer might just be weak. But it shouldn't be too weak. I am runing a 733 mhz Pentium III with 512 RAM thats 7 years old (yes I'm trying to get a new computer), but it SHOULD be able to run MUGEN if configured properly. But possibly this guy configured his MUGEN to play powerfully and for really amazing stuff. I mean, I was crashing on stages from some kind of EVA stage, from using the Super Mario 64 character (used him twice to make sure), and randomly durring certain high graphics stages when lots of music, menu graphics and stage movement was going on all at once.

However, when I picked the Flash (btw I LOVE HIM!!!!), I was able to play as him in arcade mode for 3 full battles (7 rounds) before the game crashed.

I'm downloading the fresh MUGEN client and trying it.

Edit: Fresh mugen client didn't work. Gonna try to start reading up on how to start building MUGEN from scratch but I'm on Windows and they of course love Prinnies. So any help with this would greatly be appreciated.

Mine works wonderfully. Lots of characters. The SSJ4 Goku is amazing.

The one thing that made me sad though is no DragonClaw. He's in the chars folder, but he's not selectable in the game. He's amazing. I had him in the 25 character Mugen that I had before.

Tool: If the Dragonclaw folder is not empty, then just add him to the select.def file in data! If it is empty, then no worries mon! Because Dragonclaw is easy peasy to get. So Easy

I added in "DragonClaw" below where it says "add your characters here." And nothing happened. Still no DC. His character folder isn't empty either. And the select file doesn't have any other characters in it. Just a bunch of stage crap.

lol, i forgot to specify. In the data folder, go to the EVEbattle folder and mess with the select.DEF in there. Should be a whopping 24 kbs. Then scroll down and find a random select and replace it with THE DRAGONCLAW.

P-P-Problem solved.

Rockhouse. DragonClaw is the fucking man. Thanks a ton.

Hey Axl, quick question, which chars you have, There are several rare ones,
namely the demigodly cless alvein and kyle dunamis, that are hared to get.
Took me a week to find them and now there gone ;.;

Axl 03-04-2007 06:34 PM

NMR, I will never have a desire to type 370 names on my own time. I can however tell you that I do not have those to characters... UNTIL NOW THAT IS.

Damn it feels good to be a gangsta. It really wasn't that hard just click on the mug shots to get the characters. Anybody else?

A)No there are not. : (

B)Yes it is!

On a side note, I just bumped up the character total to 470 or something. I figure that once I fill the screen I'll upload an updated version.
