YEARGHBLBLE!!!!!!!!!!

So i was playing Final Fantasy 3 on my DS earlier. I finally figure out that i have to actually HAVE level 2 spells available to me to use Mini and get into the gnome village. After i get through there i happen upon the viking cave. Oh? A dragon keeping you from sailing? Well, i can't find any other way i can go, so lets kill the fucker! I jump in the ship and go up a bit, and now i'm fighting the dragon. No sweat, since i'm not very far, he shouldn't be THAT hard to beat, right? Wrong. BAM! SMASH! 6784! 6493! Two guys down. Holy shit! Lets get out of here. I choose flee, BAM! SMASH! 6385! 6512! All my guys down. Okay, i'll reload and find a different way... Oh wait, the last time i saved was before i smashed that rock....

So anyone else have any YEARGHBLBLE moments in their gaming?

Trauma Center for the DS. There's a scenario where you must operate on five patients in ten minutes. That's an operation every two minutes right? It takes me 3 minutes to do one... YEARGHBLBLE!!!!!!

Damn, I thought this was a Spore thread. Oh well.

Most recently? I'm going to say fighting Kid Buu on highest difficulty with a stock Kid Gohan, no transformations, in DBZ BT2. Just...Just...YEARGHBLBLE!!!!!!

Though, after an hour I won. Still, YEARGHBLBLE!!!!!!

I mean, I got my ass handed to me SO many times, finally winning didn't even do it for me.

So I was making a no save play through fire emblem (first one to come out in u.s). So I get to chapter 29 and I am about to kill the boss then somehow I forgot to take out a baskilisk and it shoots at me falco knight AND SHE DIES (she had high speed and was on a mountain. I also had the thing that protects flyers from arrows on another unit) me being the honorable type, I never let my charcters die. So then I started over.

Once, I was in a mission in Original Generation, where I had to keep the main characters (the super fast chick and the tank dude alive) so, its all going good, and after about 45 minutes, my Weisritter (fast chick) gets into a scuffle wiht a generic fighter jet. It has a 12% chance to hit, I have 87% and will 1 hit the fucker. Of course, he gets luck and crits her, she blows up and I get really pissed becasue the mission was a pain.

Same on the fire emblem thing, I don't want any of my guys to die and will go through everything repeatedly just to ensure a 100% survival rate, but after my latest mission I cussed in 4 different languages. I was leveling up one of my flying units after I had destroyed the bulk of the enemy forces in a looong campaign, attacking some enemies in the northwest corner. Only to discover, upon the next turn that 4 enemies spawned right there, and immediately attacked the weakest unit there.

After she died, I yelled and haven't played the game since. It's on my desk, taunting me as we speak.

My other recent Yearghblble was in FF3, (Which has a whole lot of We warned you, but you didn't listen to us moments) In which after learning that the a-hole who tied up my boat was south, behind a deadly and unpassable bog. I'm exploring around on my chocobo, when I come upon this mansion and bog. I'd just gotten blizzaga and done some massive grinding, only to see a short cutscene where my guy got off his chocobo, then got sucked into the ground. No chance to survive, no button presses, no "oops! You nearly fell in!" Just schloop! and I'm dead!

Then, the last time I played Star Ocean, I had just gone through an optional dungeon for goods and glory, fighting hordes of nasty beasts, and I finally beat the boss of the place and got myself a kickass new sword. I get everything there is to get in the place, but just as I am about to leave, I'm attacked by the most fearsome monster in the place, Black puddle things that can replicate and do alot of damage fast.

it's then I learn that my new weapon actually heals them, and my party breaks rank too quickly and is slaughtered as I watch helplessly. Game over!

YEARGHIBLELEL!

Fire Emblem's auto save always screwed me when a character died.

I spent like half an hour in FFXII looking for a hunt. I was in entirely the wrong place.

I spent ages in FF3 trying to go back to Ur to do the Onion Knight quest. I couldn't =/

In a match in Jump Ultimate Stars, I was playing some random guys on a stage with gaps in it. However I had forgot about that. So from my starting position I jumped down, expecting to land on a platform, but instead dived directly to my doom. It was a 90 second deathmatch too =(

In FF3 I forgot to save after getting my airship back (post-Goldor) and just happened to go between those statues to the north. You know, the ones that disappear when you go through the first two, and kill you without warning when you go through the third?

Also, after playing CnC Tiberian Sun again recently, I forgot that you have to save to continue your campaign progress. No loading the most recent level, no sir!

Finally... I spend 2 days downloading the CnC3 demo (yesterday and today), only to discover that my laptop is 0.2 GHz short of being able to RUN the mofo. F**********************************CK!

Ocarina of Time. I screwed up the water temple and couldn't figure out how to reverse it. Promptly gave up. Thats what I get for messing with the water level without even looking around.

Yoshi's Island DS. I start up and my first impression is that this is way too easy to be fun. I continue at it. Now I'm at the end and my final impression: this is way too hard to be fun. I still haven't finished the last level.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I had the slighest of problems up until the end. The last mission, the extra DS one, finished me off. Its like the whole thing was made to thwart any progress. I didn't finish it as I got tired of looking up near everything.
