Sign-up for the High Seas.
Ok, this one's based in the ocean. The seas are battlefields for a pait of oceanic powers, struggling for sole control of the seas. The two factions fighting are the Katera Confederation, and the Istar Empire. Caught in the middle are a number of island nations, most of which have gone over to one side or the other. One such island nation is Korica, which has managed to hold it's own agenst both sides, both by diplomacy and from force. They are currentally seeking mercanaries for hire to boster their forces.
Now a bit about both sides. Katera Confederation: Once was small group of individuals, they have grown to become a serious threat to the supremacy of the tyranacal Istar Empire. Their ships are not as well armed or armored, but they are faster, and more manuverable. Istar Empire: Current ruler of the waves, they are known to raid smaller nations and take all able-bodied indivuadals as slave labor. Their biggest ships are so heavly armored that they can ram light vessels without taking too much damage to themselves. Mostly made up of humans and elves. Ok, race time! Human: Look in a mirror. Fae: A fariy-like species, they have enormous magical potental, but very weak physically. They are able to transform themselves human-sized for a short time. Elven: Long-lived (Some have been known to live for over 600 years) beings of amazing dextarity, they are well-known for their archery, and their magical abilities. Aqula: A rather unusual race, these half-human-half-snake beings prefer the more marshy atolls and shallow seas over the more rocky islands most of the other races live on. Exellent swimmers, they have the ability to create powerful electric shocks using muscles in their snakelike tails. Harpy: Little is known about this race, as they live on the largest mountanus islands, aside that they cna use their winglike arms to lift themselves up to high altitudes, and then swoop down, attacking with their talonlike hands and feet. |
Sounds a bit like my pirates rp. will we have cannons or no?
Yeah, it had a bit of an influence. And cannons on the ships, yes. If you'd like, you could be like a co-GM, if you'd like.
sounds fun. I'll put a bio up later
I'd rather not have that responsibility, and on cannons you might want to rethink that since then the characters have little to do.
I like the idea of boarding and taking over much better than just whalloping themm with cannons from afar.
me point exactly me boyo.
Well, they've got to defend themselves at range somehow. And I never said that they actually had ammo for them now did I? ;)
Ooo... I wish it wasn't so late, and I could think, so I'll just wait until tommorow for my bio.
