This thread is for putting up plots to take over or destroy the world.

Don't do something generic like "Build a bunch of robots and attack cities." Something like "Have robot assassins remove people in power and then insert an exact replica." is much better.

Personally I'm all for "Build a bunch of robots and attack cities."

Befirend the finaincial owner of companies like AOL/Time/Warner/whatever, Cocacola, EA, Microsoft etc, and then inherit those companies in their wills. Considering I'd basically own everything ever anyway, anything that wasn't already mine would be a cinch to buy.

Read internet threads about people's ideas to take the world from you and devise ways to counter them.

Superliminal messages are much better.

World Domination Plan Alpha: Build a massive (video game development) company, expand into "resource mining" on the moon, and build your standard nuclear-armed moon base.

World Domination Plan Beta: Have my software company release a massively popular MMOG, which will be gradually updated into a brainwashing program to build a massive army of nerds.

World Domination Plan Gamma: Become so prolific that eventually the majority of the Earth's population is made up of my bastard children, who will then all have to give me control of the planet or they don't get desert.

Personally, I think Beta is the easiest, but Gamma is the most fun.

So, you're willing to go through plan alpha then beta no matter what? Makes little or no sense.
