I really want Jack to go down, he has only helpled games once (Killer7) but I still think that that was an unnecesaty shot at Sony, key difference is they arent claiming to be on God side and purging the earth of evil and all that BS, they were just too cocky, and Nintendo was even more cocky about the 64 than Sony was about the PS3.

Sadly, historically people like Jack have never needed petty things like "facts" or "logic" to get what they want- only a group of ignorant/unintelligent people that are not willing to become acquainted with "facts".

He's not going for the "logical" or "reasonable" approach- he wants to snare the ignorant masses who won't bother finding out if he has one iota of a point. His campaign doesn't rely on logic, because quite frankly it doesnt have any.

If he can snare the attention of an ignorant majority, we're screwed. I'm pretty sure he's throwing in the bible stuff to make sure people hear about his case- after all, what's more controversial about religion, other than possibly politics...?

Unfortunately, this fact means that Jack Thompson is untouchable. We may all "want" him dead, and we may all celebrate that beautiful day in all its glory when it arrives, but if a gamer were to go and actually kill Jack, they would just prove his point and martyr him.

And unfortunately for us all, Jack doesn't realize that fact. If we are all as violent and psychologicaly unstable as he thinks we all are, then why HASN'T someone already taken a gun to him? He is the enemy of all gamers, and he is waging war against us, but rather than unite and plot his downfall, like he believes we would, we havent done a thing to him.

I guess we all just need to be patient and hopeful, and soldier on as normal, just to spite the obnoxious wanker.
