Worst game >.<

Sorry about the FF favorite thread thing... I actually realized right when I hit the submit button that that must be the most horribly redundant topic... heh

anyways...today I was looking through my NES games when I came across Where's Waldo... So I decided to play it for a laugh

At first it was funny...but then it was just sad... The whole game consists of you trying to get to the moon (within 959 seconds on easy) by finding Waldo in various stages

Sounds easy.... But considering that this game was aimed at a 5 year old audience, finding a small gray speck that sort of resembles a nerd with a Santa hat among the thousands of other near identical specks might be a little confusing...

All of this just made me want to ask everyone if they had seen a worse game :D

Would this be the wrong time to point out that the "worst game" thread also already exists in several variations? :D

But it does always make up for a good game-bashing. So go play Beethoven's 2nd for SNES, and then go and tell me you've ever seen a game worse. And yes, it is based on that movie with the huge dog, that alone should tell you something.

Where's Waldo on NES? With that resolution? What's up with that, is he like 2 pixels of red in a mass of green ones?

Ephermeral Fantasia, an rpg for the PS2. I just haaaaaaad to have a game when I bought my new system. Couldn't wait to actually look at some reviews first, noooooooo, I just haaaaaaad to have it.

Anyway. Complete load of crap.

I have Where's Waldo for the NES my friend, and I am aware of craptacularness. However, that doesn't even compare to the horror that is Superman for NES. It's in the class of Superman 64, that's how bad it is. I tried to like it, but I got really frustrated once I spent an hour looking for a FREAING PHONEBOOTH to change into Superman, all the while my dorky Clark Kent was getting his ass beat by old ladies and such.

Don't be sad ippy, I've been here a couple months and haven't seen very many "worst game" threads. At least not nearly as many as Favorite FF threads at least.

I'm gonna stray away from saying the given "Friday the 13th" and "Shaq-Fu" games. Those are givens just by their titles. Let's try ones that deceptively suck, like Septerra Core. It was a PC RPG which looked to have a pretty good story line. If you could control her that is. You had to walk around with the mouse and you couldn't tell where to move. You couldn't skip dialouge which really could have helped because it was excessively long. I went to trade the game in at EB, and its worth 50 cents. I hate that game.

There's a lot of different ways that games can blow. Some of them are poor in concept, some have an ok idea but fall flat on their face graphically, some games are well planned from concept through artistry and they drop the ball in the execution due to poor coding or other reasons. I've played a few bad games in my day, and while it may not be the out and out worst of the bunch, I'm mad at Horizons: Empire of Istaria right now. It's a bug-riddled, memory leaking, unfinished crash fest and the folks at Artifact are a bunch sods who are first against the wall when the revolution comes. David Bowman in particular.

the worst game i have ever played was FFX, it was an RPG with no world map(absolutely inexcusable), had long cutscenes you couldn't skip, and the most retarded level up system

You must be one lucky, banned, fool. I didn't care for X either, but Digimon World 2 (and 3) trump it in suckiness.

FFX was not that bad. There are plenty of RPG's without free-roaming world maps. But, the worst game I've played is probably Where's Waldo, and it's really hard because all the blobs look the same.

I have a copy of Jim Power: lost in the dimesion 3D. It's pretty lame. It did come with some kickin' rad 3D glasses though.
