Remember Kids in the Hall?

Anyone remember this show?

"Wait a minute...these people's heads have already been squished!"

Classic show.

And, even though it's dead, an obligatory comic reference.

TopHatAssassin 03-18-2007 02:13 PM

Absolutely. I never saw much of it, but it was always good to watch.
"I'm crushing your head!"

Don't remember any specific sketches but it was pretty funny. The theme song was pretty cool too, if I remember correctly.

It truly was amazing. To bad it ended... or got cancelled... or travelled to a new dimension.

I'm guessing the last one. They had to show the magic of head-crushing to the extradimensional people, dammit!

I pray it gets a DVD release, I'd camp out in front of Best Buy to get htat.

That was Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, the track was 'Having an Average Weekend'. KITH was huge with my circle of friends all throughout high school and college. I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode, and I've seen them live, and seen the movie (Brain Candy), and own the soundtrack to that movie...yeah, they rule.

It's been released--or at least the first coupla seasons have been. I borrow it from my library whenever it's in.

I think the troupe chose to end it after like four series/seasons/whatever of it, altho' rumors of their reforming tend to pop up regularly.

I'm something of a fan myself--there's a sketch from the first season, "McGillicuddy and Green", which I quite like (a vaudeville-esque double act with the worst feed man ever).

POS Industries 03-19-2007 04:51 AM

Oh yeah, KITH reunites occasionally to do big stage tours. From what I hear, the live shows are incredibly amusing, because they aren't bound by the restraints of broadcast television. Sketches tend to go on for quite a while and they aren't at all slaves to censorship.
