In the sparce amount of time that I have been rping (it's been two years already?) I've come to notice that when rps allow it, people seem to snatch up the Ninja/Ninja-esque characters quickly, especially me. So I thought to myself, "Self, I should make a Ninja rp." But I wanted something with a bit of a different story line. That night I saw an episode of Inuyasha and decided to give this a go:

Mcuh before Naraku was even a threat, the Deamon Slayers guarded the Sacred Shikon Jewel while working as exterminators. However, one day while most of the village was away fighting an impending army of deamons, a medium level Bear demon managed to fight its' way past the thin guard and steal the jewel. He didn't know about its' power, only that it was now "His shiney" However, the powerful deamon Jinza, who had actually dispatched the army that the Deamon Slayers were fighting, found out about the jewel being stolen and is now pursuing the Bear. After learning about the jewel's dissappearance, the village leader has sent out a call to the most elite Slayers to come back from their journeys (exterminating powerful deamons farther away from the village) and get the jewel back by any means necessary. They must especially make sure that Jinza does not get his hands on it, for it would mean impending doom. You are one of those elite returning from your journey, not really knowing why you were summoned, but realizing that it is of the utmost importance.

4- I know that in the anime, the Deamon Slayeras all dress the same, but that's boring, so dress however you want.
5- No God-Modding or you will face my squirrely wrath.

Name: Droneri-Kanas (Kanas for short)
Age: Unknown
Appearance: Dark purple (almost black) robes, matching headband (picture Guy from Fire Emblem, though clad in dark purple; if you don't know of him, click here, scroll down to "Guy," and click on it), jet-black hair, and hazel eyes
Weapon: A long-bow equipped with four-foot arrows
Other Equipment: An eight-inch dagger on his lower leg, and his headband is almost indestructable and elastic, so it is very useful for stranglin' folks
Bio: Doesn't say much, but is a good companion. Abandoned at an early age, he was taken in by a family of hunters, where he honed his skills as an archer hunting pheasants and the like. After he reached the age of 19, he experienced a bad concussion from the back kick of a horse. Because of this accident, he has lost his sense of time, and can not tell his age. From then on, because of his skills with a bow, he decided to rent his talent to those in need, for a price. And that's how he got here.

Name: Hutari Namakushi
Age: 26
Appearance: A shved head with intense grey eyes. he has no hair on his face what so ever that is including eyebrows for he shaves off all facial hair. He stands at about 5'5" and wieghs about 138lbs. He wears a variety of clothing and whatever he wears depends on his surroundings. He changes clothes to become almost invisible to the naked eye.
Weapon: Ashiko, Fukiya, Manriki-Gusari.
Other Equipment: various poison darts, collapseable telescope, and body paint.
Bio: Hutari was born to Yutamo and Haratashi Namakushi in Hitana. His family was quiet wealthy and so his family trained him since he was able to walk to fight the enemies of his people. He quickly acceled compared to the rest and at age 14 he was beating 36 year olds in tornaments. He was easily taking out those who would fight him. Then while he was away at a tournament his family and his city was attacked and murdered by the daemon army. He vowed vengence over his mother's burning body for within her arms was his baby brother which was born while he was away. He then hunted them down like wild game and became well known for his vast conqourings of the small daemon squads with out being touched. Soon he proved himself worthy when one of the bands he was tracking began attacking a passing caravan. Hutari was able to slay them but with a few knicks and bruises. In one of the carts was the furture ruler and he ad undoubtedly saved his life. He was then pronounced an elite at the age of 20 from then on Hutari fought the threat and was made a legend of the people. How could he not have been he was one of theyoungest ever to become an elite. Now some doubt his existance for he hasn't been seen in quiet some time, but he is still hunting and killing waiting for the chance to find those that killed his mother and baby brother.

Name: Ith'surshe thoth
Age: 23
Appearence: A tall gaunt man with long pure white hair. He wears robes of black with silver embroidered wavy patterns 'round the edges. Hanging round his neck is a large silver emblem of a silver wolf and a black eastern dragon locked in battle, the wolf rearing up over the languishing dragon. He always keeps his hood up and his eyes down to hide his blind, swirling grey eyes.
Weapon:A naginata, the blade is entirely black except for the carving of a raven outlined in white on it, it also has a special sheath with which he can disguise it as a quarterstaff. Also he always wears a set of neko-te.
Other Equipment: A silver silk sash, a set of shurikens, and a set of ninja bombs (eggshells that where hollowed out and filled with dust, pepper and metal shavings, or a ignitiable material that could produce vast amounts of smoke when thrown into the fire. Usually they were stored in seperate silk bags)
Bio: A strange man from the northern reaches of the middle kingdom (china), as a youth he was placed in the care of a kindly sect of monks. There he learned the tenants of martial arts. He quickly gained skill and was able to out do many of his mentors by the age of 14. Unfortunately, when he was 16 there was a fire. He was trapped inside and lost his eyesight to the fire. He left the monastery and set out to find others like him. He expected to never be able to live as he once did. But while he was staying there he met up with a travelling master of the blind eye technique. He joined the master in his travels and gradually was taught to see without the hinderance of his eyes. He parted with the master after his training was complete at the age of 21 and left to fulfill his destiny that had been interrupted.

Name: Kansai Myamoto
Age: 23
Appearance: 6'5, Athletic build, Black hair, brown eyes. Wears black Fatigues with dark grey armour plates on his: shins, thighs, chest, forearms and biceps. He wears a long piece of tattered, red cloth that covers his mouth and nose.
Weapon: Ninja-To, Tanto dagger, lots of Shurikens (and I do mean lots!)
Other Equipment: Basic climbing equipment, two doses of healing medicines

Bio:anyone who has seen Kansai has always remarked on how steely and offputting his eyes are. Though Being a ninja since you were three has that effect on you. Kansai almost never speaks, follows his instrucions to a tee and is amazingly quiet. This however is totally overshadowed by his bewildering proficiency with Shurikens. He is not a native to the village but obtained an elite status during the defence of the village where he wandered from the general ruin of the Daemons wake and began striking down all those daemons who cared to look twice in his direction. He downed nearly 40 enemies with his shurikens alone not to mention the other 12 with the obsidian Ninja-To on his back which caused any daemon touched by the blade to react very much like a vampire to silver. They quite blatently disintergrated. After the battle was won he vanished back into the smoke Ever since Kansai has been an enigma. people tell of a Ninja with eyes that could turn the bravest man and a determination unlike any other.

Name: Hiroru
Age: 21
Appearance: 6'3" blue eyes, Black hair, Handsome, tall
Weapon: Crystal Katana, Wakizashi, Blowgun (poisoned darts), Grappling hook.
Other Equipment: Grappling hook, journal, quill, ink, White ninja suit.
Bio: Nick named the white shadow cause of his odd ninja suit. Hiroru is known for his ability to hide in daylight. His costume allows him to better blend in with crowds of streets. He simply just has to take off his mask. Hiroru has trained with the sword since he could pick it up. In addition to being a deadly ninja, he is considered to be a skilled duelist. He killed his first demon at the age of eight years old with a poisoned dart. After that he took a crystal katana and wakizashi as his weapons, and his trusty blowgun. He left the village the next day. He keeps a chronicle of his journies and periodically will return home, bringing back the significant parts of the demons he killed. He has traveled far and seen much.

Name: Tuchai Himtaru
Age: 19
Appearence: He has short, messy brown hair and blueish-green eyes with a height of about 5'8". Being kind of scrawny, he is misjudged by many, except for those who know him. Wearing a jacket that conceals his weaponry and a pair of rarely made pants(don't ask, I just don't want him to wear robes or a jumpsuit)
Weapon: Dual katanas that don't seem like the weapon to assasinate, but putting them to good use makes them as deadly as any other ninja weapons.
Other equipment: Shurikens are his long range weaponry. He has a just-in-case dagger in his boot and he also puts that to good use(slittin people throats will be kind of entertaining)
Bio: Being taught swordsmanship at an early age, Tuchai was taught swordsmanship by the time he could hold a training sword, which was considerably young. His parents were killed when he had barely finished his training at age 9(yes he is a fast learner) he trained his speed before strengthening himself and then was found hungry and dying at age 11 by a member of the Deamon Slayers, who saw potential in him and took him in. He has been a member of the group ever since.
