Yeah you're probably right.
At this point I think that the Thief, BM, and Fighter are actively trying to show RM that NPC's can offer them nothing by talking with them.

Yes but it will be an act. Fighter is the true guiding force, influencing the others for his own evil goals, so subtle, so powerful, so... no that just doesnt seem right.

Maybe its a stroke? maybe some of the scar tissue from all those stabs to the head has clogged up his brain... you know... more than usual.
