Ok Loki, I'm not entirely sure how the retreat orders will work here since you were bounced back from Ukraine, and then thrown out of your country with the only available country to retreat to is...ukraine where me and you clashed so...I have NO CLUE WHATSOEVER as how this works. I'm gonna go check the rulebook on this.

EDIT: OK, I've done my reading, if anyone wants to double check me, its on page 17 of the PDF rulebook. Loki's army is disbanded and doesn't get a chance to retreat to Ukraine since it was a conflict territory that was left vacant. Sorry Loki.

EDIT: Messed up a few colors on the map. they should all be fixed now.

well, no. I was hoping you'd all just start sending in orders as soon as you're ready. I think we're all a little too grown up for a deadline. So just send in orders.

If you haven't noticed, I haven't exactly been the best at keeping these deadlines have I?

True, but people tend to hesitate to place in orders until the deadline has arrived. It generally helps to tell us there is no deadline, and that we're expected to get them in fairly early on our own.

Tsar Loki once again Graces us with his presence!
 

Greetings loyal peons citizens and those countries whose names matter not! Tsar Loki writes to you on another glorious day!

I write to you in our true capital of Moscow, once inhabited by Turkish Scum our dear friends from the south, who have since gone to a better place home. We bid them farewell, and ask that the door not hit them on the way out they return soon to enjoy our hospitality!

I am saddened to report, though, that our mortal enemies friends in Austria have recently had a change in the government. I congratulate our southern friends in their victory in what was obviously the gruesome and bloody destruction of an independent city-state a fair and transparent election. Although I may disagree with everything they stand for their beliefs regarding drinking before 9am, I am proud of their accomplishment.

We also have good news to report on the Western Front. The fleet has received several backed shipments of vodka, and mistakenly sailed to Holland, claiming the unclaimed country for the Fatherland! I praise their efforts, and look forward to seeing what excellent products they return with.

In other news, my new clothes have just arrived! They are surely the most stylish and lightweight pieces of clothing I have ever worn. The cape is by far my favorite, with its, uh, flashily understated styling. I wore them on my most recent outing, and their sight brought smiles to all who saw them!

Now perhaps you ask what is next for our glorious army. Well, I’ve heard there is some fine land to the South worth pursuing, and I have every intention of doing just that! Someday soon, we shall dine in Constantinople, for I’m sure our neighbors would love to have us!

May those who fight the Fatherland suffer multiple paper cuts and drown in lemon juice!

In completely unrelated news, Tsar Loki has ordered the execution of a few little children who shouted weird accusations at him during the Tsar’s most recent outing. The Bureau of People who Fix Problems (BPFP) in a statement said that the youths were “surely Turkish spies sent to undermine the Tsar’s authority.”

There has also been a recent law created by the Tsar that no person is to Point and laugh at the Tsar’s new clothing. Pointing, staring in awe, and smiling and laughing are fine, but pointing and laughing simultaneously (especially at the “pants”) will lead to a most unpleasant sentence (Most likely, Death).

In more unrelated news, the writer of the previous story was hanged for adding extra quotation marks where they were obviously unnecessary.

You should probably execute your current speech writer as well. You're not supposed to say the word "uh" in a planned speech. And the phrase "flashily understated styling" should readly "Understatedly Flashingly styling" or "Flashingly, Understatedly Styling" The first two adjectives need to have an "ly" at the end as thier a series of adjectives the come before the word. Just an FYI.
