Dante lay against the curve of the circular window, dressed in little more than a simple white tunic. He was
tired, but sleep eluded him, as it always did. His hair was ruffled by the cold night wind, but he hardly felt it, lost in his thoughts.

So much had happened over the past few weeks... his capture by that scum Radeus, his subsequent enslavement and usage as a tool of destruction, the reunion with Miliani which had given him back his free will, the discovery that Rin ahd died searching for him... then the confrontation with Radeus, and the discovery that he was the reincarnation of the leader of the thirteen most powerful sorcerers in history...

He tried to think, then he just closed his eyes and sighed. Things had gotten so complicated , so fast... It was just too much to take in. He set his ehad back against the rounded window and looked to the tapestry of the night sky. Normally, it would have been afire with little white stars. Tonight, however, was the night of the full moon, and the great pearly orb in the sky made the rest of the heavens seem like black silk laid across the firmament. The moon was large, filling the sky, the light almost blinding in its intensity, seeming to grow as he looked closer at it...

"...like it was going to devour everything."

Dang, me an' Ecurt are good at getting our respective chars at hating us :D

I'll give you a VIEWTIFUL!!! for that one, Dante. I conviniently took the huge on and made it small, to help ease the pain of the people without scroll wheels on their mouses!

That was great, Dante. I loved that episode of futurama, and you did an excellent job following the beat and rhyming scheme... Bravo! Encore!

Yah, as soon as a demon opens the throne room doors... or busts them down... or in any way moves them...

The plan was actually to let Deamon conquer the city, then when everyone starts fleeing and thinking of a way to beat him, they run into Dante, who's taking his army and conquering cities and villages left and right in an insane plan to unite everyone against Deamon. Then, when they meet up with Dante, they choose not to join him after hearing about his *brutal* means of suppressing insurgency ("Kill them all and feed them to the new recruits.")

Then eventually things come to a head when Dante sees Preos... and then a massive battle of magic and martial arts ensues between Deamon and Dante... The Demon King strikes deep... the Dark Prince bites deeper... More coming soon, stay tuned to... FF RP!!!!

EDIT: The army's the problem. Even if I go as fast as possible, it'll still take around 4-5 days to get an army up, and a few weeks to start conquering and stuff.

This ought to be interesting... Because the Death Field is going to make Preos uninhabitable until someone returns with A-M Fields to disable it, because Dezil set it up so the Death Field would become stable when it covered the entire city, making it uninhabitable and uninvadable...

I think it'll be more than interesting.

I'm lazy and have no idea what the death field is supposed to do (Or why it is such a good idea...). Just say Deamon for whatever reason goes into throne room and activates it. (But do not say he went in there to gloat or anything, no cliche idiot villian moves)

But wouldn't Daemon going into the throne room, and activating it kill him?

It's a field of the Death spell, that will not miss. Ever. It touches you, you die. Plain and simple, which is why we're using the AM fields to stop it from hitting us.

Well, at least you understand how the trap works...

Deamon: *Enters throne room* I hope I don't activate a trap or anything.
Death Field: Muwuahahah! I is activaterd! *Pops up and eats Deamon* Burp!
Arc: Whee! He's dead!
Deamon: *Five seconds later appears back at the Demon's Gate* Ouch. That hurt. Oh well, it can't kill me, permanently anyway. I'm just that bad ass. ^_^ *Does a dance*
Arc: Oh poopie.

That's basically what's going to happen. Demons go back to wherever they came from when they die, and from there they can reenter our world through the gate. That's how it's going to be, until the gate is sealed or something else happens.

Your right on the idea, but wrong on this specific subject.

Well... it MIGHT miss... but then it hits you again, and again, and again, and again... like, once every nano-second... so you die in no-time flat anyway.

And yah... It should kill him and send him back to the gate... along with most of the other demons in Preos... neglecting any that are flying high enough above the city to avoid the field. And then Deamon would probably get pissed off and think of some way to disable the death field...

I'd guess he'd enter the throne room because there's absolutely no one anywhere else in the city... so that'd be the place to look.

Just say the orb comes up.

Edit - This is an Ecurt aproved thing, thouhg I think he forgot...

.... Then what is he, temperarily banished? It will kill him and every other demon when it is activated, so it's not like Deamon will activate the trap, then stand there in the field alive and say, "I'm so bad ass, I'm totally immune to things that would kill anything else on earth."...

EDIT - Perhaps Ecurt can tell us why Deamon is suddenly immune to the Death Field then...

1) FF world, there are many monsters immune to magic (And death).

2) Deamon can make his own little anti-magic field. It can only cover him, but he can do it. (And despite the fact that I am the bad guy, he's now allowed to do much while under his anti-magic field)

That, or I can say he has the anti-magic field he stole from Cecil a long, long time ago.

I would vote on the A-M field he stole from Cecil for consistency, since it doesn't make much sense for you to make your own A-M Field... The Reflect spell maybe, but not an A-M Field. Besides, Deamon is a physical powerhouse, so if were going with FF consistency, he would suck at any and all magic, so I vote Cecil's A-M Field.

Deamon = Demon god (Not really, but he is the leader). He has demonic magic and energy. I see no problem with him being able to cancel out human magic.

How many final bosses are either only strong or magic strong? They are always both.

Yes, but your not in Final Boss mode, your in First Stage mode, who is usually one or the other. Usually you fight the final boss ins tages, and the Final or Ultimate Form is the one good at everything. You even admitted yourself that Deamon has more powerful forms to change into...

Hmm... I kinda envisioned Deamon now as Normal Form, when the characters fight him as War Form, then the state he aspires to become on this world being the Ultimate World-Cutting Death Dealing Form.

Human form, Demon form (Switches between those two as he pleases), You are all screwed form.

Don't worry, Dezil will have a plan when it comes time for the "You Are All Screwed" form...

Ciaran probably will too... and it will probably include Dezil's. You know... I'm starting to wonder if Ciaran won't end up being the bad guy that wins just by making the good guys decide that without him they wouldn't have been able to stop the other two (who seem far far far more evil)... you know, kinda like a presidential election "Well, he's the least evil..."

And those plans will fail...

No, they won't. You have no clue what they are, and your already assuming. It's going to be fun in the end, it will be the anti-climactic ending you always enjoy IHMN...

Unless Ecurt told you what your plan must involve, you I'm guessing it won't work.

Ecurt approved my plan, so I don't know what special thing you have set up about your character that Ecurt approved...

Ecurt doesn't seem very good at keeping things together...

One of Dezil inventions permenantly defeat Deamon? Yes.

After all, as time passes, there will be more developments as our characters advance...

And Ecurt, maybe you can help clue some of us in as to the big game plan? We don't all want to know everything, but some of have major plot points planned that you approved, and it is starting to get confusing as everyone vaguely mentions their plot but doesn't want to reveal too much...

Ugh... Ecurt is horrible at keeping track of things. Before I mentioned how Deamon would be beat, he says ok, then he just agrees to your little plan... (Which isn't even close to what I had said)

I agree, I'd like to know kind of what's going on. Basically my char has been following everyone else aroudn the whole time, so I'm not sure what to do next.

That's all you do really, everyone just sort of follows along with whatever the latest plot point it. That's how the FF games work too. However, I would still like to know what Ecurt's Grand Plan on this whole thing is...

Especially since I think his Grand Plan is really all of our grand plans mixed into one, making many contradictions and plot holes...

What we all need is some Omake. Omake is good. Omake puts hair on your chest.

Personally, I have quite enough hair on my chest thank you very much.

However, I can't think of a good omake right now. Anyone have any ideas, cause our current situation isn't very funny...

Since Dante made that Omake, I wanted to see that episode of Futurama.. But since I can't, I went to the next best thing.

Ha ha ha, man it's even better once you have the tune right there. I didn't remember the song well since I saw the episode a long time ago, but now taht I heard that it really is spot on. Great job Dante on being so faithful to the original and making it so it actually works to the same beat. I realize it got no official rating, so it gets the gold Brilliant! of Omake goodness!

And IHMN, if you have Kazaa you could try to find the episodes there or something. I don't use file-sharing systems, but I heard of a guy that found a series of cartoons on Kazaa, so you could try to find some episodes of Futurama on there or something. It was a good series and I wish I has seen more of it now.

Strange things happen when you are alone in a rover manning comms in the middle of the night... I even did a Wheel of Time remix for Livin la Vida loca (I was REALLY bored)...

That is what I am doing Forever, but I can't find that specific episode. So I am mass downloading.

And you should use some file sharing programs, mainly Kazaa Lite.

Well... I have mixed moral views on it. However, I did consider it once, and might now to look for some rare things I really wanted. I'll look into it, and if I did it would be Kazaa light since the other version is chock full of spyware you need to use it.

And if I'm bored in school (Which I am a lot, thank you just 3 more months left of school before I go to college!), I usually just daydream about games or story writing. There has actually been an RP idea I thought up recently based on a game I'm playing, but I would need to A. Work out the kinks and B. Have enough motivation to get it started.

If you do decide to download it, your doing to have to take some detours to get it (I think it's some how been removed from every site to download free).

Here is what I did.

Go to www.download.com. Search for Ares. Download Ares Galaxy. Once that is downloaded, install it. After installed, you could use that, but Kazaa Lite is better. So in Ares, search for Kazaa lite under Software. Download one with two stars and a file size of 3,287KB named Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.3 English. Then install Kazaa and uninstall Ares.


And I just don't feel like making up Omakes... I probably could, but I just don't want to.
