She looked at Ith and smiled. "I didn't think it was a good time. And I suppose I'm a bit on the shy side. Although, i suppose even my entrance wasn't any help to that. I couldn't even kill a demon like that." She hangs her head and looks to the ground. <Oh my goodness, don't start crying><I can't help it. How can they help me, if i can't even help them?>

She lifts her head and smiles at Ith. I know my fighting isn't exactly..... well, good. But I do have room for improvement, and sometimes, my fighting skills just might suprise you."

"No need for tears young one. Your attempt was noble and I wouldn't have killed it like that either. Although your stance was a little off while you waited in the trees." He said.

She looked at him closer. <HE'S BLIND!?!?>

"I then wandered for some time and found a new path to the center with a new master. He taught me to see without the use of my eyes. In fact I can see better than I did then now, for color and brightness and silence no longer reign over my sight."

To see without one must see within. Ah if only they could find such sight as well.

She smiles again, trying not to think about those.... eyeless orbs. "So, you can't read minds or anything, right? I mean, no one here can, right?"

Tuchai was beginning to think this girl really needed some work in the swordsmanship area. Her moves seemed half learned and colse to unprofessional. He began to think about something that was bothering him, Hmmmmmm...... maybe I could help her out. She does seem to need some advice swordsmanship. I could also teach her the family style too. I am the last one to use it and possibly will be. She could help spread it. But there's something about her.......she's too quiet after a question. OK, I just won't teach her anything that's TOO lethal. He then walked up to her and politely asked, "You know you could really use some work on your moves, maybe I could teach you something that could help out?"

He stops her body in mid step and turns her head. "I've had more training in one day then you'd have in a lifetime." He mumbled to himself.

Something was definitely wrong with this person. He couldn't explain what had happened, two completely different answers, all in about ten seconds. He was definitely glad he wasn't going to teach her everything. "uuuuuhhhhhh........ooooook. I guess we'll just have to start whenever we stop, if we do." He looked at Akia, who looked like she wasn't going to stop to find this thing, even if it took the rest of her life.

He gestured to a cherry tree overhanging the path ahead.

He already knew the answer but he had to ask anyway.

Hutari just watched the girl strangely as she seemed to debate most things within herself. Then he thought of something that would help him even more. "Ith could you help me learn how to do that? For one knows not what the gods have in store for them and since we are preparing to fight I would like to know how to use my senses without my eyesight" he said hopefully. He had been in hundereds of fights and not once has an opponent not tried to throw something at his eyes.

Yes, keep talking. Invite the demons to attack. Akia was a little suspicious of the new girl. There was...something about her. But there wasn't any time for that now. Finding the Bear Demon was their first priority, however it was getting dark. "We'll set up camp at the next clearing we reach."

Kansai said nothing. As far as he was concerned there wasn't time to bicker and scheme within his own mind.

"Oh please Ith, don't go all sagey just because the 'cheese' speaks to you. A tree is a tree is a tree, blossoms and all. If you block that out, whats the point of living? Sometimes ya just gotta stop and take it all in, cheese be damned." Toshiro said strolling by. He stopped in his tracks near the new girl.

"And, if you ever feel a desire to stop and see the sights, just call for me by name, Toshiro *wink*. Now, on to the bear demon and the Shikon Jewel!"

"Dammit, what did I tell you about getting ideas! Just calm down and let people belive what they want, it's not like everyone thinks what you think." Tuchai said this quietly. He was getting the idea that something was following them. It might have just been his paranoid senses coming back to him, but something seemed alittle off, other than the new girl of the group.

OOC: Whoa whoa! I'm gone two days and already there's five pages!? I'm out. I love a good roleplay, but I just don't have the time for this kind of posting. Sorry people.

Dinoshi walked a few steps behind Akia, keeping his eyes out for anything that may decide to jump out at them. From the way the others were talking constantly, he figured it may be sooner than later. He kept his hand close to his tanto dagger, just in case it would be needed. He walked up to Akia and beside her. Keeping himself quiet, he spoke warning to her.

"If we are to camp, we should set up some traps with what we can find. And set up a watch at the same time. We don't want to be caught off guard."

"Traps may not help us if Jinza decides to attack, but we will of course keep watch." Akia would have preffered to walk all night, but with there being no moon, it would be difficult to keep quiet. Plus, everyone was weary from the long walk and a good rest would enable them to keep a faster pace the next morning.

Nobuki had been silent throughout the battle, and for the rest of the trip for that matter. Something was holding him back. He didn't know what, but he felt that he would hold the team up, not do them any good. As soon as the group reached the next clearing, he waited for the right opprotunity.

It wasn't until everyone was down that he arouse from his slumber. He looked at the group and took a deep breath. He didn't want to leave, he didn't want to break his promise to his elder, but he had to. He turned and went on ahead by himself.

It was only a moment before his body was enveloped into total darkness. He liked it better that way. I'm sorry everyone...

Ith got up and looked after Nobuki.

What is this man attempting? I am surprised he did not realize I never sleep, only meditate. There are demons about and he's walking right into them.
