Why was the totally bitchin' "A Group of Musicians" banned title replaced by the generic "Banned" title?

Unless I totally missed the joke, I'm pretty sure xravi was not fake banned for what he pulled. And you know what? I think [EDIT: two months] was pretty damned lenient and he should be thanking his lucky stars for that much.

But that's just one man's opinion. Or whatever it is I am.

So yeah, seriously, what's up with the change?

Except that the people who were banned with that title still have it. Only the new bans use "Banned"

People who were banned a while ago still have the Group of Musicians title.

It had been up forever and I thought it was lame and 'punny'. So I changed it. I couldn't come up with anything particular clever-sounding and I've always preferred a nice straight-forward "BANNED," so that's what I went with.

Xravi is very non-fake and extremely seriously banned.

The users 'not getting it' was slightly less terrible than "Doin' it Otaku Son style" version that was wrought before it.

Plus, we know how fifth likes the word "BANNED". Caps is important.

I posted a topic about this in "Community," and I forgot to read other forums. But what the heck happened while I was gone? There were like two dozen people banned. =/ Now POS Industries has Courier text, wonder if it's a new usergroup. :p

All fake bans. Hence the way it's "Fucking banned!" instead of "BANNED".

This was due to the "shiney is an ass" thread perpetrated by Fenris. The mod. With shiney's permission, apparently.

So fifth of course bans every person who posts in the thread.

And POS got one of the Easter Eggs in fifth's contest in the Games forum. The prize was a name customization. Thus the Courier font.

I never liked forum games from here anyway. :shifty:
