Hadoken At A Mirror
 

I came up with this cinema feature for an 8-bit comic in a dream once (it is a bit editited <because dreams well, yah>) here it is:

Show a dark tavern room at night. (Now the Light warriors are suspicious of ninja attack though I couldn't come up with a reason). You see all the Light warriors in bed pretending to sleep.

Enter Ninja stage right. He is sneaking up on Fighter clossest to the door. When he is mere inches from fighter. They all jump up yelling. The ninja starts to dodge attacks from fighter. Finnaly he manages to trip up fighter, but to encounter RM attacking him with some spells a blade, and a dice roll or two. After one of RM's spells misfire and he is turned into a frog. The ninja must than fight Thief. A great battle sequence is shown with the thief and nija finnaly, Thief shouts "BLACK MAGE NOW!"

Thief runs out of the way, and Black Mage starts to say HA-DO-KEN!!!!! the Ninja just barely gets out of the way as the Hadoken strikes a mirror and is reflected back at BM, he just jumps out of the way as the hadoken strikes the wall behind him, leving a smoldering hole, where the Ninja, escapes.

The four light warriors stand by the hole (They're on the second floor of the building) gazing out at the landscape thief says "This is but a taste of what lies ahead..."

So what do ya think of it???

I'd prefer that the Hadoken struck the mirror and kept on going intil it hit the ninja in the mirror backwards world.
Then, the scene switches to the normal scene and WM is screaming, "What have I done!?"
Her hammer stuck in BB's bloody flesh, her naked, undead corpse desecrated by BM with Thief's head.
All of this in a thought bubble sprouting from the ninja's mind. The ninja is laughing. LAUGHING! And Sara, Her sword stuck in his gut says, "Sorry man, this just isn't working the way it's supposed to.

Then, just before the end, an echo shrieks, "I am GarBlack! I will casts the spells that will knock all you peoples down!"


Wait... I think my version might suck.

i think that i didn't really get any of that and now i have to go rest my brain before i try to understand it again!!!

Wouldn't the Hadoken just shatter the mirror?

maybe maybe not, I alway looked at hadoken, as a cobination of light and energy, would that not cause it to reflect, of course that WAS a dream, and dreams have a tendancy to not obey the laws of phisics. And I suppose once the hadoken, hit the wall there would be an explosion that would kill the four light warriors, and the ninja along with destroying the wall and the whole Tavern so...

I'm always like that/this.

YAY! I GET TO USE MY SCIENCE SKILLS!!! Alright Hadoken at mirror at first seems like it will be reflected correct? it seems reasonable. but there is one flaw. Hadoken is obviusly Nuclear energy or energy that is just as powerful. Now a little of that hadoken might reflect for <does mathmatic calc> 2.5 seconds but other than that the mirror is history. the sheer force of the hadoken destroys the mirror:UNLESS the mirror is so thick and so shiney that it could deflect a nuclear blast (if my theory is correct) so it really depends on the mirror. mind you it better be one really good mirror.

Would it be possable for the mirror to reflected the hadoken but shadder while doing so so most or all of the energy is deflected??

Hmm, froma purely scientific standpoint, everyone is forgetting an essential part of pure energy... heat. The Hadoken has to have the heat of the core of a nuclear blast, and thus would melt the mirror from the intense heat before it even touched the mirror, deflecting no energy.

everyone is also forgetting were not talking about a death star blast here!! its not science!! Its magic!! differen't laws!! a huge energy blast coming for someones hands is not scientific!!
