What are you using now?

We may not have exactly what you're looking for, but when we update highschoolstarship, we use two different PHP scripts that pretty much do everything for us as far as news posts and comic updates. It's just a matter of filling in the blanks.

My friend (one of the co-creators) made them for us to use and considered making them available to the public but never really got around to it. They probaly need some tweaking for what you want but if you're interested I can talk to him?

Anyway, to keep this open, does anyone else use auto-updating thing-a-ma-bobs for their websites? What are you using, which programs have you found useful, and so on?

Brian uses CUSP. From my experience with it, I don't see why it already can't do everything he needs.

Buh? CUSP, in no way, can handle multiple comics archives at one time.

I believe there's something called, "Comikaze." Or something similar. From my super limited experience with it, it looks like a CUSP clone, but built for multiple comics.

"...and here it is!"

Nikose is using it right now, but unless I'm mistaken Parker Comics is going to be using something different in the near future. I think he and Sidarth are working on it.

You need it to actually create an archive page for you, or enable you to lable multiple series of comics, or both?

Actually, We're switching from Xcomic to Comikaze right now on Parker Comics. I gotta say, Comikaze is a wonderful little program.

I recommend SomeryC. You can have an archive page with it, or you can have a drop down archive. It also lets people comment on comics, like a blog.

Example.
