Because he probably has many dozens (maybe more) and doesn't have time to deal with a lowly peon like you.

Cuckoos are the hardest enemy in Zelda.

Cuckoos are ruthless when pushed to the brink. And yet the right chocobo can be trained to fight without mercy. I'm gonna have to go with Cuckoos on this one. No matter how hard you try, their heads just will not slice off. Then they get pissed after a while and all hell breaks loose.

Cuckoos would win because if you attack one, you are swarmed by many others that appear out of the middle of nowhere. Also, they never get injured.

I WOULD like to post my opinion with the chocobo, but if you think about it, how much better can you get than a lethal chicken? So my my vote goes with the cuckoo

LTTP for SNES. You drive them mad, and then slice the chickens that attack - you hear a clink noise. The chickens are made of STEEL. No way a chocobo could beat that.

Has anyboy seen the chocobos from FF12 yet? Those are badass. Cuckoos are like little housemaids that kill their husbands when they reach the edge. My vote goes to Chocobo.

Cuckoos are entirely invincible. They would eventually win against anything, including Bahamut, Sin, and Omega Weapon(in no particular order). They could kill any Chocobo. I like Chocobo's better though, and they have practical uses.
