Ben 10 ~~ Suxorz?
 

Personal opinion and all that..
Ben 10 is one of the greatest cartoons crafted in America in a loonnggg time.

For those who do not know what Ben 10 is, it is a cartoon about three individuals, all family members. Two are cousins and the other is the grandfather.
During the start of summer vacation Ben discovers the Omnitrix, a wrist device that is capable of transforming the wearer into an alien for so much time(Before it times out and subsequently does not allow further transforming).

The series deals with Ben fighting aliens that are after the device, random monsters discovered during their wanderings and other such oddities like crazy criminal retards that are trying to rob an ATM.


My favorite villain would have to be Charmcaster. Her character design is just so nice looking, good combo of coloring and outfit. I look forward to a potential reshowing of her at some future point...I hope. With her evil bag of tricks.

It's not bad, but...

I just watched an episode the other day which had Sublimino (sp?). Yeah, I liked it better when it was Mr. Mental and The Tick.

And the whole 10 alien thing really does seem like a way to sell that many (plus more!) related merchandise. I know, because I saw a lot while trying to find those Avatar action figures. What? What? I don't know what this word "hypocrisy" means? Is it a slang?

But it does have Colonel Campbell in it, which is REALLY... weird.

"Be-nn."

"Yes, Uncle?"

"You must find the alien before he gets to the device."

Great. Now I want to play Metal Gear Solid again.

The Wandering God

I really like this show. I especially like the current story which has Ben fighting aliens modeled after Classic Universal monsters.

Its decent for the most part, better than most things shown in that... god forsaken place(Adult Swim excluded, naturally). It would be a lot better if it was more adult oriented, but hell, anything probably could.

Just came to post about that. Jesus, he makes that show.

They're doing a movie, cartoon movie and a real live action one....

Ben 10 is the only superhero show on tv I can stomach now, as Fantastic Four was lame, TMNT was kinda overly complicated (Well great...I miss a week and now the shredder's an Alien and there are anthropromorphic Triceratops? WTF happened while I was gone?) and no way in hell am I ever going to watch Loonaticz (or whatever the hell it's called).

It has a nice combination of streetsmart superheroism like Static Shock, nice interfamily banter, and a neat selection of a monsters of the week.

Naturally, I'm quite fond of Heatblast, but XLR8 is cool too.

Anywho, I've seen a few episodes... and I need to see a few more. I liked it a lot.

Personally, I am no fan of the show.
Merely listening to the voice actors (at least, the ones who aren't Grandpa) makes me want to tear out my entire nervous system. And let me tell you, I like my nervous system. It's the system I use to see, hear, smell, taste, touch, and tell my muscles when to push people down the stairs.

I mean, sure, some of the episodes are alright (especially the one with the killer assassin robots), but... still.

Maybe I just hate Animo too much for being the most generic mad scientist villain I've ever seen, I dunno?

Ben 10 is okay, but nothing I go out of my way to watch. Its just a bit too kid centric for me. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but as such I can't get into it.

Still, I'm just waiting & hoping that somebody talented out there will do a mash up of audio clips from Ben-10, and the Medal Gear series to make something completely wacky. You know its just bound to happen...
