This'll be interesting. Doubtless the anime will get a much more open following and bring in millions, and 4Kids will be like "WTF? We had that same show and it sucked!"

But it is 4000% better than 4Kids, by a long shot.

Manga's still better to me. It's what got me started in manga in the first place and thus remains my favorite.

Anyway, I heard they were actually going to make it a PG-13 rating now. Though the lollipop stays for some reason (wierd seeing as you've got cigs in Naruto and Dragonball).

Also they're changing the VAs, thoughts? I think mostly good news, though a few will be missed (I kinda liked Zoro's).

Mmph. Sanji's lollipop is one of the major things that encapsulates everything shitty about the 4Kids dub. It's either anti-smoking props at work,or I suppose that dub was so blindingly horrible that they were unable to take every offense out in the timetable they have.

Don't forget the poison SUCTION CUP bullets. Those were amazing. I quit the show RIGHT then and there.

When you say PG-13, do you mean TV-14 or Y7? Which audience is it now aimed at? If they left in the lollipop I'd assume it's going to be Y7 (which is more like PG, than PG-13), and will be shown during primetime (as opposed to Adult Swim).

That's what I heard, so whatever that corresponds to in TV. Running off internet information here though so I could well be off.

Except about the VAs thing that's pretty much confirmed.
