favorite vehicular death now?

hrm.

real world: the Ontos "Multiple Rifle" Tank. even though its outdated, its still a cool looking tank. this: http://www.diggerhistory.info/pages-...lied/ontos.htm is the Ontos. in essence, its a tank with six 'recoilless rifles' attached to it, and for its time was a hell of a tank-destroyer. two of the barrels could be removed and shoulder fired by infantry.

make belive: the Daishi from Mechwarrior. get one of those with 3 LBX 20 auto cannons on it, and oh man...two proper hits and you can take out an assult class mech. either that, or a Daishi with six small rotary autocannons. that can chew through any armor in very short order.

vehicle? The Last of the V8s! Tanks are cool, but a) i dont knwo how to drive them (wait, i dotn know how todrive stick anyway. crap) and b) the v8 Intercept's got CLASS baby (not to mention better gas milage, and the windows can be rolled down for some fresh air)

in reality? a 95 Neon. :(

If we get vehicles... my real life one would be an Aurora Fighter Jet. It's brand spankin' new... not really in production yet (still classified from what I understand), but it's suppose to go mach 6. Eat my air-dust!

Fantasy... Death Star... and I'm altering my fantasy energy weapon (seeming as death star is now the vehicle) to the Dragon Slave, ala Slayers.

Well I've been thinking about my weapon's of choices again and think that Dancing shall be the number one weapon of choice...

dancing is good, but i think my dancing is outlawed under UN weapons conventions

Hand to hand: Kunai. Awesome for grappling and disarming all you swordsmen. Also easily concealed which is always a plus. Second choice: Epee. Class AND range.

Gun: Ehh, I'm not really a gun person, so....... a big one? :confused: Second choice: Crossbow

Vehicle: Kanada's bike from Akira. Oh HELL yeah.

My vehicle would be the Highwind.

Mine would be the Yggdrasil from Xenogears afer all the upgrades. A vehicle capable of travelling undergroud, underwater, and in the air. Oh yeaah.

Wait... would THE Xenogear be considered a vehicle? You know... the ultimate gear?

Because if it would... well, I still want the death star... but that'd be a pretty nifty secondary. Especially with all the low fuel but HIGH power stuff from joe's shop. Kick the crap out of the Yggdrasil with that puppy.

Hmm.

Melee: Lightsaber. It's really quite simple. Combine the awesome cutting ability with the easy of concealment and the quick draw (due to having no blade to clear) and you've got a winner. Add in a blade length adjustment and it would make an ideal stealth weapon.

Gun: M40A1 10mm Pulse Rifle. With the 30mm grenade launcher of course. Not too bulky, and it was good enough to cap numerous aliens. Plus, caseless ammunition is just cool.

Sidearm: Might as well go with the H&K VP70 to fit in with the M40A1. Either that, or a gyrojet that actually worked right. That would be cool.

Energy: Phaser. Assuming we're talking handheld weapons here, the phaser just packs the best package. It's a beam weapon, which means better accuracy and easier usage than any other weapon type. After all, you can just hold down the trigger and sweep. Add in the significant power those things pack in the amazingly compact form and it's hard to beat.

Vehicle: Lightcycle. Yeah, it doesn't have much firepower, but think how convenient it would be to have a bike in a handlebar. Plus, they are fast and maneuverable. And you can't beat their cool looks. V'ger would be the other possibility. Like the death star only even more powerful. Plus it packs a sentient AI to help pass long boring trips.
