Would You Watch It?

I'm simply wondering if you all would watch the following if it was on television::

A reality television show where it starts off with a wonderfully large old looking mansion sitting out in the middle of nowhere. The contestants are brought in, not having been informed of exactly what the contest will involve beyond the prize(500k to 1 million would probably be best).

As the introduction to the individuals begins the mansion lights go out, and then as they come back on a "Corpse"(Mannequin) would be located before them, including a video cassete.

The video would detail what they had to do, which is survive in a monster infested mansion. The last one standing would win.

Removal from the show would be simple. Go wandering off, get caught by the monster and you're dead. You could be simply walking down the hallway and then the wall near you would open up, and you'd be grabbed and dragged away.

In order to force people to head out they'd be broken into two teams.

Team 1(White, which would totally need a black guy on it) and Team 2(Black, which would need a white guy).

Each team has to meet a specific requirement before the time alloted is over.

Example:
White Team has to send two people to get onto the roof and fix the phone line before the night is over.
Black Team has to send two people into the basement in order to get the power back on.

Failure to meet a goal allows the opposite team to vote out one of the members of the failing team. If both teams fail then both get one person voted out(Of the mansion, and into the spooky forest).

In-show strategies could include such insidious things as leaving someone alone when sent to do a challenge, which could result in them being gnawed upon by the "Monster".

So... its Saw. Only with monsters. Based on the failure of the movies, I have to go with "no." Sorry.

This sounds like it would be the most totally awesome thing ever if it were a Nickelodeon game show in 1988.

Nobody would actually get hurt. That'd be kind of....hard to do on a reality tv show.

Very very true.
People should just have to solve mysteries at the same time. Super scooby doo!

Um...the Saw movies made pretty good money.

To the point that they're making a fourth.

Sounds kinda like Survivor, to me. I'd watch it if the monsters were real, for sure. Needs some tweaking, but the basic idea seems sound.

If you can make the contestants actually scared, then yes, it might be interesting enough to watch. Otherwise, it might just end up like "The real world" or something, for which I loathe.

I wouldn't watch it, but only because it's a reality show. Sorry, but I have principles.
