How you top Shaun of The Dead in every category? Have Simon Pegg write another movie with more money to make it happen. I saw this the other night and laughed so hard I cried. It has been a long time since I have seen a movie to which the entire theater breaks out into cheering when the movie's climax arrives.

Spoiler:

Drop kicking the old lady and the skewering of Timothy Dalton were some of the most shockingly awesome things I have ever seen.

This was out in February in England (England to USA is so much longer than USA to England for some awesome reason), however I failed to see it. Hopefully, it'll still be showing in America while I'm out there in June.

I liked Shawn of the Dead, so I do have high hopes for this film.

I went to see this movie on Friday night and would like to state that Simon Pegg can do no wrong.... HE CAN DO NO WRONG!!!

I saw this last night and as God is my witness I will find a way to marry this film.

Am I the only person who found "Shaun Of the Dead" to be just...okay? I didn't really laugh. Ever.
Smiled once or twice, but no laughter..it wasn't really funny so much as midly distracting.

It wasn't great, but Hot Fuzz promises to be brilliant.

I want to see this movie so bad, but teh closest theatre to me that it's showing in is 3 hours away in the capital of my state.

Demetrius 04-23-2007 03:58 PM

The trip is well worth it, this movie is worth the effort to see in a theater.

Mashirosen 04-23-2007 07:23 PM

bass_virus, I'm sure there are ways for you to see it that wouldn't involve a three-hour drive. And by that I mean check your PMs.
