Who wants to start a "Get Phil a new computer" donation drive?

The Artist Formerly Known as Hawk 05-11-2007 11:35 AM

Hell I will, he still owes me sprites! But seriously, hope you find some way to get back soon dude, even if it doesn't look possible right now.

Also, why the thank you?

Nikose Tyris 05-11-2007 11:36 AM

Sounds good. Phil, Make a donation button for your paypal and we'll give you monies!

OR, people could give me monies, I could build the computer and mail it to him.

i dunno. your pick. He'd get a nice 3.0 system with an MSI motherboard for about $400.

Phil, you can't leave us! *sobs*

Well, we'll all miss ya. I hope your laptop, through some miracle, gets fixed soon. :(

For about $350, we could buy Phil a computer.

and now I'm going to go steal all of Fenris's hammers.

Arhra 05-12-2007 09:10 AM

Sorry to see you go Phil. I hope your laptop worries are over soon.

And who told Lumaes about the vulnerable spot?! If it wasn't for the fact the trench that's the only approach point is ludicrously well defended and the tube's only 2 meters across, I might be seriously worried.

For the events unfolding: here He is, the enemy I have alluded to before as being similar to the Dark Merman.

Forgive me.

Name: The Manotaur, Manly Minotaur Supreme
Class: Sub-boss
Appearance: The Manotaur is half man, half bull, all man. A horned figure of herculean proportions, the Manotaur casts all nearby into the shadow of his masculinity. With level gaze and noble bearing, his artistic fighting style is a sight to behold. The jealous might call it showboating.
Abilities/weapons: The Manotaur needs no weapons!
Paragon: The Manotaur is a vision of manliness. Never before has there been so much man in the same place. It is impossible to make the Manotaur any less of a man.
Ten Thousand Ox Burden: The Manotaur is strong. Very strong. His stamina is legendary and he can take a lot of punishment.
Unman: Next to the Manotaur, other males just can't compare. They are rendered weak and impotent.

This looks like fun. :D I'll wait for Flare to post first before I do anything.

That's what the Gender Inversion Staff is for! I knew we kept it for a reason, and I sense it is key to winning this battle.

Of course, if we use it against the Manotaur he will simply just affect all the females, which doesn't help our cause much, so we probably have to use it on all the males instead.

As to the Unman effect, I assume it basically takes away the ability and will to fight against such an awesome foe for us guys then?

Nikose Tyris 05-12-2007 10:10 AM

Actually, from the way Arhra worded it, I think the guys have to become GIRLS in order to actually act at all tough or macho.

Fortunately, that qualifies as a compulsion effect, so Nikose is going to remain utterly oblivious.

That's what I was saying. We have to use the gender inversion staff on ourselves so we can fight normaly.
