FMA

If there already is an FMA thread, I'm sorry to post another. Any way, anybody else seen the 51st episode? I don't think they showed it on adult swim, I had to download it on the internet.

Unfortunately, I got out of the series early... although it looked cool.

Yes, there are about three other topics about this.

They showed it on Adult Swim, unedited, with this message before it that was like, "This show contains scenes of violence and is not suitable for people under the age of 14" with a following message that said, "No, seriously, this episode is really bloody. We were going to edit it but we decided not to, because we are American Cowboys."

Me? I didn't think that episode of FMA was really that bloody. Just cause The Fuhrer gets burnt to death after breaking Selim's neck, and Roy gets stabbed in the arm, it wasn't really worse than anything else shown on Adult Swim...except for the stupid plot twist at the end of the series in the last few episodes and the movie, but that's the anime itself's fault. I didn't even know they had to edit anything shown at that hour. Comedy Central purposely doesn't edit at that hour, for example.

And yes, there are several other topics, though I don't suppose any asking this specific question.

I really prefer the manga to the anime, although it was pretty good.

Anime had a stupid ending. On par with the plot twist in SO3.

Ouch Josheplex, nice way to give a cold shoulder to a series that doesn't have a completely sucky ending. And you had to say SO3's plot twist... cold man.

I have yet to watch the FMA movie I own. I am waiting to pick up the final DVD so i can watch both eith my friend.

My favourite episodes are the two-parter with the exam and the Episode where Hughes dies

You should DEFINATELY pick up the last DVD before you see the movie, It explains so much.

Lord of Joshelplex 05-08-2007 10:50 AM

If the movie makes the ending less stupid, I will revoke that statement. Compared to the manga, what is in the gate in the anime was kinda ridiculous.

SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!

What was in the manga? The movie just continues the story until Ed and Al are back together.
