I Have a Dream!
For one day there just might be an 8 bit theater movie.
|
Are we talking a flash that covers the whole series and is posted across the internet, or a real, movie theatre movie?
|
The
Movie in theaters or maybe dvd i know its a crazy dream but a dream none the less.
|
Go for it!
Who says you can't make it come true?? Dreams only seem crazy until you make them a reality!! If you've got the fire, you just need to find the best place to start things burning... :whee:
Um, ok... :sweatdrop that probably wasn't the best line but ya know what I mean. All great things start somewhere. I'm sure 8-bit theater forums was just a dream to someone at some stage and now lookie lookie :bmage: Start with a Flash animation or something cool like that. The trend might catch on and you'll never know what could be down the road for you!! ^^ |
Well, there are flash movies of the first, what, 30 episodes or so, but there haven't been any new ones for a while. The possibility of a live-action movie is a very, very, very remote one, I'm afraid, but I sure wouldn't mind it.

I vote Black Mage to be played by that fat obnoxious kid from American Idol.
Also, for Fighter - Sanjaya! |
Someone should contact the guys that made Gamers to see if we can talk 'em into taking this on. 30 minute episodes on youtube or even straight to DVD sold on ZE Stuff would be huge.

Imagine a world.... (remember that comic)
Your just layin back with a 12 pack of pibb laughing the day away with a 4 hour movie.
imagine seeing the animated ver. of those stories told around the camp fire put into animation.Fighters mind dragon: Yar Im the evil scourage. And it also makes you wonder if they unpixalize it. BM's unconsience with the dark god who is really just magus. Imagine how the producers would screw with the Black belt thing. But i guess its hard to imagine seeing a comedy action old age cartoon on the big screen. There Would probaly be a finall yet seriouse showdown between fighter and Black Mage. I.E. Swordopolis and Magus. But they might make a 2nd becuase who wants it too end so quickly. But then again how far would the type of comedy go in the movies. Many possibilities. |
I don't think the humour would work very well in a movie. Brian makes a humourous webcomic, so that measn that he pretty much has to be funny in every single episode. It would be difficult to shove all that into a 2-3 hour movie without losing a lot of what makes it great.
