I need to get an email to Brian Cleavinger

My email is mlmorr0@uky.edu I tried to email him using the link on the forums (nuklearman@hotmail.com) but it had a delivery failure.

Bob The Mercenary 02-18-2004 11:27 AM

Try Brian@nuklearpower.com

Sky Warrior Bob 02-18-2004 12:40 PM

Or not.

Frankly, you're more likely to get Brian's attention if you post to the forums than you'll ever likely to get with e-mail. He's a busy guy, and doesn't have time to talk to everyone all the time.

Hey, its been months since I've heard from the guy, and since I do a good deal of sprites for the comic, you'd think that wouldn't be the case. But then again, you have no clue how boring and trivial I can be, so I don't blame him... much.

Of course, if what you have to say is too private to share in the forums, then why are you talking to him in the first place? Talk to a shrink not him, not are they professionally trained, but if you pay them a great deal they might even give you useful advice.

Looks like another cross-poster from EN World, not something "private."

Might be related to trying to get Brian over to Gencon but I'd never know.

Damn I don't post any more... at least on the old forums I had a few hundred...

Edit: Looks like it's actually related to his 8-bit Mtg cards...

Krylo 02-18-2004 07:37 PM

Yah, just post it in this section of the forums if you don't mind others reading it. Brian reads these pretty often and replies a lot under the username Kurosen. Pretty easy to get ahold of him on here.

Michael Morris 02-21-2004 11:05 PM

I'd rather not discuss the details in public, but it does involve a free admission and hotel at Gencon. Again, I need to get ahold of him in private to discuss details.

Creamsteak 02-22-2004 12:16 AM

If he makes it this year, it'll make up for just how insanely late the con's going to be. He hasn't been very responsive to emails or the boards here like I recall, but hopefully he'll get around to it. Try Sosa. Sosa responds much quicker to emails, and can tell Brian to get in touch with you, I think.

Michael Morris 02-22-2004 12:19 AM

Sosa's email address is?

Creamsteak 02-22-2004 12:21 AM

incrediblemrsosa AT hotmail DOT com

Wetflame 02-22-2004 10:21 AM

Why? If you want to talk to him, just do. PM him or something. He's a damn busy guy though running a site and all that, so don't abuse it. Although he did have time to talk to me =P Hehe.
Just have something better to talk about than "OMFG I teh LUV ur Comicz0rz!"

Mashirosen 02-22-2004 01:46 PM

You could probably start by spelling his last name properly, and by sending mail to brian@nuklearpower.com (case-sensitive, sorry Bob) instead of pestering Sosa. ;P

RedMage 02-24-2004 12:23 AM

1. That's not my email anymore, That email address died about a month after i got it. Which makes your statement all the funnier regarding my alacrity on answering my mail.
2. Brian gets so much less mail than I do, like on a 1:100 ratio. I don';t understand why it takes him so long to respond, it's not like he does anything all day.
3. If you need ot get a hold of me, I've been checking my red mage mail like a mad man. I may not always respond to the letters, I try to get to as many as time permits in a week before I just erase them all to make way for the next week's craziness, but if you have an actual problem or are trying to book me for an event (hint hint) I'll most certaintly give it my full attention.

Michael Morris 02-24-2004 03:59 PM

Well, I sent a message to brian@nuklearpower.com. Hopefully it will go through.

And I will say this much - yes, I'm trying to book Brian for an event if he's interested. Those who browse ENWorld and here should be able to put 2 and 2 together and figure out what it is BUT I don't want to say that much about it until I've spoken with all parties concerned, including Brian.

RedMage 02-24-2004 10:58 PM

Nobody ever wants to book me for events. Sosa is sad now.

Bob The Mercenary 02-24-2004 11:13 PM

Northeast, Sosa, northeast.

RedMage 02-24-2004 11:20 PM

...I don't understand your strange words, sir. But I feel they're important.

Bob The Mercenary 02-24-2004 11:29 PM

I forget. My people's tongue is strange to you. We here in the tri-state area would gladly accept your presence.

Brian's always at least 300 miles away from where I live, at these convention dealies. So I guess we'll have to settle for you :p

RedMage 02-24-2004 11:39 PM

Hell, if you guys are buying the airfare and hotel then I'm a proven crowd pleaser. Just ask the Fitcon people who have me over every year. I put on a hell of a show.

Creamsteak 02-25-2004 01:42 AM

Hey, I'd like to see Sosa at Gencon. I'm just not important.

Exoduselder 02-25-2004 04:09 PM

Just make up a post that has brians name in it and he decends from olympus on high to minggle with the commoners, no really you just have to wait for the opritune moment he'll probbaly respond to this one soon...

yeah sosa is cool it would be cool to see him there...

Edited by Mashirosen: Exoduselder, I've asked you once before to stop double-posting. I'm not going to ask again. Please see the rules thread for an explanation of our reasons for being so strict about this.

RedMage 02-25-2004 04:21 PM

You guys want me to go places and see you, tell your local con people. I'll be more than happy to go to any con that wants me there.

Exoduselder 02-25-2004 04:29 PM

I think i might do that...
