There are only two people I want in the game.

Geno and Crono. Ironically, I want Geno more then Crono.

I do know that in SSB: Melee, we could have used less Mario. I mean really, do we need Dr Mario.

Not if Dr. Mario could use a cure spell.

I want a Midna character! I don't know what she would do exactly, but I think she would be cool to have.

Also, I hope they don't get rid of too many characters. Even if they are clones, I quite enjoyed Roy, Pichu, and Young Link. Oh yes, and I pray they don't get rid of Ness. I know he's not that well known of a character to these young gamers, but I like him alot.

I sure hope not either, come on... he has the bat without even getting the bat!

I've got a feeling that Midna's Imp form coming out of Link's shadow and doing something insulting will be his taunt myself.

It would sure be better than his other taunts.

Does anyone know if anymore information has been released anywhere about new characters and the like? It seems like the only hints we have are the E3 trailer and a couple statements claiming Sonic will not be included.

Ness is very very very safe. This game is developed in japan, and over there Mother is giynormic. Ness is more or less heralded as the best hero from the whole game series, and if anything there's a better chance of Lucas getting into Brawl as a Ness companion.

There's a rumour that Ridley might be getting in. Makes sense to me - if you want more representation from Metroid, there's fairly limited options.

I am hoping they implement a costume system - it would be a good way to preserve some of the near clones (Dr Mario for example). Could affect the appearance of attacks too. They could even keep the mechanical differences if they wanted to.

Other clones will likely be modified or dropped. I'm sure Ganondorf will be getting a big makeover. Differences between Fox and Falco will probably be accentuated a bit too. Young Link might actually get changed to the Wind Waker Link.

On characters likely to be dropped, I think its most likely to be Dr Mario, Pichu and Roy. They're all clones and none seem to be especially iconic.

I am wondering what they'll be doing with Zelda. Shiek only appears in Ocarina of Time after all. Same with Zero Suit Samus. Is it going to be a transformation like Zelda/Shiek, something conditional or a separate character? The preview trailer suggests to me that it happens when you use Samus' brawl move. I think I might prefer it if she was a separate character though.

Wouldn't hurt, Marth and Roy being clones of each other is...annoying. And since I doubt any non-Lord type will make it in...if any FEs are added it would/should be Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Erika, Ephraim or Ike.

Hoping for Lyn myself, but I like them all. Long as they aren't another Marth/Roy type clone anyway. :sweatdrop

Edit: as long as they keep in Peach, I will be happy. Her slaps are fun...and her frying pan is more fun still.

I lurve Kirby. He's my favorite character to use.

I hate Yoshi, I can't get the hang of his controls and moves.

What character I'd like to see:
Kool Kid and his little furry sidekick.
