Edit: As a side note, I'm starting to wonder what color the Wind Air Orb actually is. Just looking at my avatar (which is based on the Bezel Cup lv. 4 effect), it could quite possibly be pink or purple. Normally, such things go red, yellow, green, blue, but the Earth Orb was already green, and popular culture usually reserves that for Wind these days with Earth being yellow. Though it used to be the other way around. Otherwise, sky blue wouldn't be out of the question, but it would have to be visibly paler than the Water Orb/borderline white.

Nested edit: Which means it could be yellow, magenta, cyan, white, or Brian could totally pull a fast one! [/nestededit]

I'm gonna lose sleep over this. XDDD

Not necessarily. As an example, Puzzle Quest had earth runes as green and air runes as yellow. I actually can't think of a case myself where Air was green and Earth yellow.

I usually see
red=fire
blue=water
white=air/wind
brown/green=earth

I bet the air orb is white or transparent.

Meanwhile, I wonder what Fighter's rampant success in drownball will mean for the game. Will every player wear armor and drown faster/ score style points? He's going to revolutionize the whole game.

Wouldn't it be really craptactic if it was invisible, like the very element it represents?

Actually, if you check FFXI, you'll find that Wind is Green, while Water and Ice are both different shades of blue, and Earth is indeed Yellow.

My mum refused to let me buy that MMO. Yet we own WoW now. I'm missing out on proper elemental education!!

Metastophicleas 05-08-2007 11:15 AM

Yes, you are missing out.

Edit: Am I the only one who noticed that the sprites for the interviewer are the same as the sprites for BLM?

In my opinion, Fighter shouldnt have worn armor becuase it protects his hitpoints but then again it does decrease his ability to dodge the water.

Who started Drownball?

Molekh 05-08-2007 04:24 PM

From the ancient art of Water-jutsu came two branches. one was convinced living was important to the sport, the other wasn't. hence, swimming and Drownball.
