Anyway I'll be looking forward to this and will possibly get it. Granted I played and beat both the SNES and PSX versions and I never got to play the GBA version but heard good things about the extra side quests, I might pick this up for my DS.

I meant FF3j, the NES version. "Childhood" was a bit exaggerative; I'll admit, lol. Still, FF3j is my favorite NES RPG, hands down, and I personally don't really like the directions they took with FFIII DS.
That said, some of the FFIV DS screenshots concern me. It's sort of the same deal as the overall style Square used for the GBA ports. Lazyian translation: Hey, it worked for Dawn of Souls, why not do it with every other port? And we've seen how that can detract from the quality of a game *cough*FF6*cough*.
My only agreement with FFIII DS was that the chibi big-headed style at least worked--FF3j was already set in a whimsical environment. FFIV, on the other hand, is a tad darker, and so the same style will likely not work. Although, to its credit; it's not quite as noticable here. Chibi Cecil should nevertheless spare himself the misery of his existance and impale himself on his own sword--and it irritates me too, since Cecil is one of my favorite FF characters and FFIV one of my favorite FFs overall.
