You could try searching for MG's 8BT game...

Even though 8BT has Final Fantasy's base storyline (and a couple of lines from the actual game, for example, "I, Garland, will knock you all down!" and "Welcome to Corneria!"), it would be pretty damn cool to see 8BT as an actual RPG.

Just think of the cut-scenes! 8BT in completely professional 3D animated glory!

If graphics were much like those 8-bit thatre flash animations and dialoues from comic it would be really good!

People have tried doing it. And have failed. Besides, it would be better if 8-Bit Stayed as a comic, with Flash rehashes every now and then.

If you want a funny RPG, pick up Earthbound.

Fencer I agree and Disagree with you Yes Earthbound is funny as hell nut an actual 8-bit game? Can you imagine boat-doken? Or perhaps any scene with the Giant. The Question is who would be the main role? its either fighter or Black Mage or play as either or and have limited control of Rmage or Thief Now the Problem is that they are doing it in flash, I know theres an RPG maker out there somewhere for computer and i say use that. However it would all be up to brian. Thats what it comes down to...

FFX-2 has floored me on many occaisons, but in a good way.

I would try to make an 8-bit game, but seeing as how Im already making a TWCproject game (based on the 8-bit forums) and how difficult it would be, I dont think Im going to go there.

But yes, I think it would be interesting. You know, if it was an actual RPG.

Aye. But if they hand drew it, would it truely be 8-bit? I think the essence and soul of the comic is that it's in 8-bit format. To take that away would be like taking a fish out of water and sticking it in mountain dew(poor fish).

It'd still be funny(if it was well done, but would be missing something big.

Wait your asking for a game based on a comic based on a game. Who would you sue?
