Hacking Device for PS2
I am in a bit of a dilema, I want (and in some cdases need) a hacking device. I know of Action Replay and Gameshark, unfortunately, none of the Future Shps and Best Buys have anyhting but an AR USB thingy that is really exspensive. Is it worht it for an AR device, or should I try and procure a Gameshark somehow.

Personally, I'd go for a Codebreaker 7.

Are those hard to find?
|
They are. Best bet is probably to get one online.

For the record, I am not really looking to say, make me uberpowered, I am more looking to say, munlock features and modes in games I sick at too much to unlock myself, if that makes a difference.

You can only find a usb AR? Don't they make the one that uses a memory card anymore?

ARMAX is the only cheat device you'll find in stores. But I must warn you, no one converts for it any more, and Codejunkies.com barely updates their list of games for it. Although I can probably convert codes for you for the ARMAX if needed. |
Ahh pisshit. I'll see if I cant mooch my friends PS2 Gameshark off him, if not, ARmax it is, since I assume that ordering online requires a credit card and not a bank card.

Yeah, Codebreaker's better for just about everything, from what I've seen. It just seems to have a lot of player-support, and players are the ones who invariably get you the cool codes.

Take this with a huge grain of salt, but if you only want to unlock stuff, gamefaqs often has save files up for download. I've never tried this myself, and of course I imagine you'd have to be careful about them - the chance someone hides malware in a PS2 save file is slim but probably there. Another downside is that you need a transferring device to get the saves from your PC to your memory card.
Fakeedit: apparently that's even possible to do with this codebreaker thingie. Whatever you do, I'm not responsible for any damage. |
