Death Note
has anyone read Death Note? I finished reading the scanlations of it and i feel tingly all over.

I did. I thought it was kinda lame, but stories like this arent my cup of tea.

Yeah, I really liked it until the end when **SPOILER** they made Light go all "I'm a crazy psycopath who thinks I'm God, omg I've been outsmarted!! Time to freak out and babble incoherently." That made me lose all of the well earned respect I had for Light.
yeah, I am glad Ryuk got the last laugh though, he was always my favorite. I wish I had stopped at the end of the first 'season', when the original L died, because that would have been a cool ending. I never really liked Near or Mellow. |

Check this out http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=233 , its hilarious (and about DeathNote). Although I also think that it gets worse after the timeskip, it just seems more rushed than the first part.

I tried reading it again just now, cause Im a conformist who needs to fit in to feel good about myself and I couldnt bring myself to do it, I just hate the characters that much.

is this the same as the Death Note anime? would it be worth watching.

The manga is pretty much the same as the anime. I loved Death Note until about half way when something big happened. After that it was all downhill for me. The ending made me hate Light too.
