Class of 2004: The Magic Kingdom

I'm just wondering if anyone else on this site is going to Orlando, FL for their Senior Class Trip. I had to go to the high school today to see a hyped-up movie on the trip that's supposed to get everyone excited :o but it ended up coming off as corny...

10,000 seniors from around the country are going in total. I'd expect to find one here.

Florida? You guys get to go to Florida? Man, all we got was a stupid trip to Worlds of Fun (theme park in Kansas City).

You guys get a senior class trip? That's crazy.

Yeah, we also got a 8th grade trip in middle school to Washington D.C. This one's probably going to be a little more exciting, though :D

The Bahamas

Is it before our after graduation? We had a Senior Cruise in early May after graduation. It rocked 4 nights and 5 days, destination the Bahamas, baby!

I did the same thing, Spring Break 2000.

As for going to Florida; while it would be nice to get away from where I live, I take college classes as well as high school, so it's not really an option.

Damn, you got the Bahamas!? It's way before graduation. Our choir has a cruise every year down the coast near the Bahamas, I think.

Wait, did you say "in May, after graduation?" We get out of school here usually in early June unless we have a few snow days to make up. A few years ago we got out the 14th or somewhere around there.

[Edit] Oh, Lymerion, did you take that senior option thingy? Where you go to high school for half the day, then split for a community college for credit or something like that? Because we just got that here this year.

Oopsies.

Ooops... I meant early JUNE. Snow isn't an option down here.

Anyway, my high school should have been renamed "Trip Taking High". I went to Orlando, New York, and New Orleans with Concert Choir. I went to San Antonio with DECA and Nassau with the Senior Class. Some other kids ended up going to Los Angeles, Denver, and Detroit, too. I think one of the more recent Senior Classes went to Europe for 2 weeks or something like that. Crazy!

Yes. 1 quarter of college = 5 college credits = 1 high school credit = 2 semesters of high school.

Therefore, even if I could go, I probably wouldn't, since the incentives for going to the college are so obvious.

Geez, they get around. The trips my school has taken aren't exactly as many. The German class took a trip to Germany. The Spanish class took a trip to Spain. We are going to Orlando and the choir went on a cruise as mentioned before. Our Principals of Law class went to a jail and talked to inmates. And I know a lot of different classes go to see Broadway shows and such. Oh yeah, I went with the orchestra to see The Producers. Too bad it was when Matt Broderick and Nate Lane weren't there.
