the FDA approved diet pill!!!
omg...the manufacturers reccomend when you start the taking of these pills to either:
1) Take a few days off of work, as the pill may cause diarrhea 2) BRING A SPARE PAIR OF PANTS TO WORK (i am SO not making this up...) it blocks 25% of your fat intake, but you may crap your pants. really...is it worth it? |
Um, could you at least put a link to this information? I know this is the off-topic section, but still...
Thanks:) |
Pics or it didn't happen!
.... Actually no, I don't need that. Agreed, a source to verify said claim would be fantastic. I find scatological humor to be endlessly fascinating. I read webcomics, after all. |
Well, John, I think we have to change the specifications of the project a bit to accomodate oh hey I just lost weight again, awesome.

Hmm...I gotta lose some weight...do I learn healthy eating habits, or take this pill that will turn my shorts into a fudge factory?
Decisions, decisions. |
Actually, the website says you should learn healthy eating habits AND take the pill. Just taking the pill won't do anything but make you sick.
|
Well, it might cause an aversion. I mean, crapping your pants every time you get a burger at Rally's or something... yeah, you'd learn to avoid that like the plauge.

"Eating a low-fat diet lowers the chance of these bowel changes, especially if you limit your fat to 15 grams per meal." I like this right here. kind of defeats the purpose of the pill if you're eating so little fat.
In some ways, I'm not surprised at all that this was FDA approved, and in other ways I am. What the pill essentially does is reduce the amount of fat you digest, meaning the rest goes through undigested. Not exactly what I'd call good times. The thing is, you may not be absorbing the fat, but in the same way as with bulemics, your body will get wise and start leeching the calories from the fat before its excreted, whether you fully digest it or not. Might as well just stick to diet and exercise, it's cheaper. |
I think I'll stick to being bullemic. I'd rather puke than shit my pants anyday.
