Sons of Pluto discussion

Okay. So the first post is up from Aidan. All of your characters will be getting summons fairly quickly, if not already. Most of you would be on assignment doing damage control of one fashion or another. Blindmime, you'll probably get the summons when your current Mode o' Transportation lands.

To start this story off I'm going to reveal a bit of Sons of Pluto information here. More will come in the discussion thread as the story moves.

-------------Sons of Pluto caches----------------

No secret organization is without it's supply of caches. Some call them safe houses, shadow flats, bunkers, etc. The Sons of Pluto hid very well placed storages of ships, ammunition, tools, etc... on every major colony and world. Their locations have changed over the years, and often times are made known only to their elite operatives for emergency use.

Any attempts to access the Sons of Pluto storage facility without proper genetic clearance (Standard keys were replaced with DNA scans), would yield various errors. Attempts to dig deeper would merely redirect investigators to various well-maintained dummy corporations also found on every colony.
------------------------------------------------------

---------Dummy Corporations---------------

A key to misinformation is creating falsified fronts to dissuade enemies from your true nature. The Sons of Pluto own many investment firms, manufacturing sites, and merchant companies. Perhaps what safeguards them from prying eyes is the fact these are wholly functional facilities in and of themselves.

However, an overwhelming majority of the employees and staff are operatives within the Sons of Pluto. A decently sized civilian employment base is kept to maintain the full illusion of the company's autonomy from the Sons themselves. These civilians are as oblivious to the true nature of their company as the authorities that would investigate them.

What will the summons read? do we make it up ourselves our wait for you to write it out.

Tyrazial 05-24-2007 07:37 AM

Hrm. You'll recieve a one sentence message. It will simply state "Condition Alpha Omega". That's the code to abandon current missions and return to base. It'll come either over communicator if you have one with you, a message via a data pad (PDA of the fuuutuuure!), etc... That's all it will say. But everyone will know what it means.

Figured that the way my character uses to kill would be a good reason to consider her a suspect.

Tyrazial 05-29-2007 10:09 AM

Okay, I will be PMing all of you from here on in with any specific instructions. When we arrive on scene, all of you will be finding various things, and I will give you information on what it is. It will be up to you how, if at all, you present the findings to the group :)

Also, I have picked who I want the killer to be, and I will be informing said party this week as well. I will not announce who it is, as only I and the killer shall be aware of it. :) Good luck, gumshoes!

And you just know it won't be me who gets picked as the killer. Why? Too easy. Too cliched. Veteran cyborg chick with her personality tortured out of her head? Way too easy. Everyone's going to be looking at her when they collectively find out that an SoP did it.

I hope we totally find Clue weapons during our search and seizure of the president's suite. "Hmmm...a candlestick. Odd thing to find in the billiard room."

Flarecobra 05-29-2007 01:59 PM

Can't be mine, dispite having the obvious choise for a weapon that leaves nothing behind but a higher protein count...

Tyrazial 05-29-2007 05:14 PM

I am not giving any hints at this point. The killer's been notified. If you haven't been picked, don't post it. If you have, don't post it. It must be a mystereeeeee.. :)

Who knows, I might've even picked more than one. ;)

Astral Harmony 05-29-2007 05:22 PM

I shall reveal who did it!

...

It was her butler! Just one broken dish of the fine china and she docks half his pay, so she had to pay. In the face. With one of those punching clown dolls.

SaigoKusunoki 05-29-2007 05:36 PM

Nah it was Professor Plum with the Lead Pipe in the Kitchen. No lie.
