Rei noticed the pathetic attempt Drake was doing at pulling the quills out, so he leaned over and grabbed a hand full of them. In one quick montioned he pulled all of them out, enchanted them with Darkness, and threw them at the closest group of Sinspawn. The mainly quills gave off a dark aura as they began to hit the scales, blinding those that were hit.

"Thanks, Rei." Drake said as he got up. He ripped both sleeves off of his black shirt and made a makeshift bandage, stopping the blood from exiting his leg. I gotta be more careful around these fiends...it's a good thing that I practiced Jumping so much, those Ronso were right when they said I'd have bad landings. Good thing I got used to it. That was my first faceplant in months...

He grabbed his halberd off of the ground, and turned towards the fiends that Rei blinded using the quills from Drake's leg. These things are starting to tick me off... He reared back, and bellowed a war cry, while a large cone of flame from his Drake's mouth enveloped the blinded fiends in the impressive miniature-sized inferno.

[OOC:] Fire breath, baby! [/OOC]

After about 5 seconds, Drake closed his mouth and resumed his standing position, leaning on his halberd while observing the cremated ashes of the fiends that stood before him just seconds ago. Woah...that's a bit more draining than I remember...

ooc-Mystery one revealed...sorta. Why Ripel was at the Temple. You won't know exactly what he did until later, and his motive will only be found out just near the end...if my timeline is followed exactly. Which it probably won't, oh well.

"This," he replied with a smile. "I'm sure you have seen something similar to it."

Ripel began doing gestures similar (though not exactly like) what Raine had done to summon up Valefor, and when he finished those paying attention would notice that pyreflies had gathered over him.

The pyreflies flashed brightly, making it impossible for those present to look straight at them without being blinded. When it dimmed enough to see the pyreflies were gone, and replacing them was an aeon resembling a darker and larger version of Raine's Valefor.

Beaming as he watched his summon fly up towards the sky, Ripel hopped up and down. "Great! It worked! Now everyone, please stand back."

OOC: Ugh... I can already assume that I am not going to like what your character is supposed to be... And I'm guessing the idea of it alone contradics and make plots hole from what FFX set up...

Raine's eyes opened wide as she saw Ripel summon a Valefor much like her own, "W-What?" She stammered, then looked at Ripel, "You're a summoner?"

[OOC:] Darnit, Ecurt steals the spotlight form my Burnination! Oh, well...I saw this one coming quite a while ago...like I have said several times, this'll make things interesting.

One question: Does this mean that if Ripel decides to stick with Raine and company, does this mean that some of the guardians should/will need to 'transfer' to protect him as well? [/n00b talk][/OOC]

(OOC: Since riding a ferry to a battle thats already over would be moronic...and they would only need to transfer if Ripel decided to split away and go collecting aeons by a different path...)

Zita and Argoth approached the ferry, then watched as tentacles slithered around it and snapped it like so many dry twigs. A menacing looking sinspawn slithered from the water, except this one looked lost since it kept darting its...head eye thingy around looking for its friends which werent there.

"Aww cmon, I was hoping for something bigger...oh well, testing is testing...say hello to the blaze unleasher (title in progress)" Zita said, raising one of his guns, hooking up the Ifrit fire, then squeezing the trigger. A weak pfit blurted out and a laughable 'flame' spurted out before dying. "Now, that wasnt supposed to happen...uhm, Argoth, handle this guy for a few moments, I think I can work this out..."

An aeon in two places at once? That goes against everything I have ever been taught about the aeons... Rei thought to himself.

OOC: Seeing as an aeon is just infact one person... And one aeon per temple...

OOC: Actually they do have multiples of the aeons, didnt you ever fight Belgemine with the same aeon as her? The fayth just give em out like biscuits I suppose.

OOC: Fayth = aeon... And I never finished the game. I assumed that you could not use the Aeon she was using...
