actually, it's not being a "Crybaby" it's the fact that the sherrif's office went against the judges decision that she not be granted alternative punishments, such as house arrest. in one of the articles i have read about this situation the sherrif may be held in contempt of court. |

As long as she's getting put back for the full sentance, I'd be happy.

Or... Most people for that matter. I would enjoy house arrest. "Go to the bank for me! Go get a job!" "Mom, I'm under house arrest *goes back to playing video games" |
The fact that she is crying makes me laugh at her. If thats wrong then I don;t want to be right.

From what I hear there's more to house arrest than just "yo, stay inside." I've read a report from someone under house arrest who said he wasn't allowed to keep alcohol in the house, for one. I imagine this alone makes throwing any parties very difficult indeed. Of course it all depends on where you live.

So she's going back to jail... And from what I read from this article, she still could get out earlier, assuming she keeps up good behavior (end of the article).
Honestly, I feel that the Sheriff did exceed his authority here, as it seems like the unspecified medical condition wasn't much more than an excuse, as I've heard everything from heart medication to a mental breakdown. And I can't see why heart medication would remain undisclosed, and a mental breakdown is to be expected from jail. Yes, usually a sheriff is given some leeway in keeping in-mates in, but to so obviously dismiss a sentence goes beyond justification. Had Paris served up to 20 days, that I could understand, but he tried to let her go after a mere five days. And it does prompt the question as to the why. I mean, the sheriff could have just felt sorry for Hilton, but then again bribery could have also have happened. SWB |
Personally I'm applauding the judge for his speedy, "Oh no you don't" intervention on the matter. He gave a real sentence and he intends to see it carried out. Nice.

Maybe paris wasn't the "queen bitch" in jail and kept getting picked on by the "real bitches", aka Women who can take a punishment.
