The Items of the Divine
 

Setting: Non-descript, this world is in every way like ours, and all characters will start within the same city. Also for the sake of simplicity, if you and another character are students for example then you will be students of the same school.

Plot: Each character will be given an item with a unique ability, rules, and restrictions. The appearance and size will vary, and there is no garentee it will even be portable. Each character will be given the item over PM. What your character does with this power is up to them. You can use it, give it away, or destroy it. With the item you could help people, help yourself, even attempt to conquer the planet. You are not limited to one item and by that I mean you can aquire the items of the others.

Keep in mind your character should not know that there are other items, that they can be used or destroy by you, and certainly not the number of items. Of course over time he or she may find out the answer to all of these. I am just letting you know that due to the nature of this RP I will be strict about your character knowing ooc information.

I will control all outside forces. By that I mean media, police, politics, ect. How they react depends on what you do. For example, if you commit crimes then the media will report it and the police will go after you even if both do not realize what you can do.

Items: You will get one to start, as well as full instructions on its usage. The item will have a unique ability, some are straight forward, others are seemingly weak and will require creative use to make them effective.

To start everyone will have relative anonymity. Obviously you must be careful, use it carelessly and people will find out who you are and what you can do. Its your greatest defence, but eventually you will lose it, how long you keep it is up to you.

Do we fill out the Usage section after you PM us our item? Or does what we put influence the item we get (like, if I say I've had the item for thirty years you decide to make it something unnoticeable like a ring)?

Appearance: Bob is 6' 1", 235lbs, has brown hair and eyes, an easy smile and carries himself with a smooth confidence. Bob is in excellent shape, he runs and works out on a daily basis, and is part of a local Mui Thai club.
Bio: Bob is a self made man. He left his parent's home at 16 and began his working life as a construction worker, saving every penny he made. At 20 he owned his own construction business and was finishing up a business degree. By the time he was 25, Bob merged with Brickwell Building and became a silent partner in one of the largest construction and engineering firms in the city, two years ago he bought into the majority share of the company and brought it public. Bob now "works" about 25 hours a week, mostly spent meeting customers and making sure no one messes things up too badly. The business is self sufficient and Bob likes to keep it that way as much as possible. He is single at the moment, owns his home in the suburbs, with a three car garage, SUV, BMW (741), boat and a project Charger he works on in his spare time. Other than work Bob spends a great deal of time seeing the sights, fishing, golfing and generally taking it easy.
Usage: Bob has had the item for about 16 years and uses it semi-frequently for pleasure.

yes, usage will be added later. I am also making a edit to that saying you will also have to state what you have done with your item. PM all of that to me. This is mostly so I can relay information to the other members they should be aware of.

Appearance: White, usually suited for his workplace, the look of a well maintained person of high enough economic status. Currently sporting a dark beard that ranges from suitably trimmed to semi-bushy depending on how much time he has set aside to the task. About 5'10, he has a scholarly build, and switches between his glasses and contacts in accordance with how late he wakes up in the morning.
Bio: Currently Roland is single and lives alone in a small apartment close to downtown. His present job as a lawyer for the DA means he works long hours, but he usually keeps an upbeat attitude up, excepting for days when he feels he has lost an important case. His co-workers find him generally amiable and friendly. Currently between girlfriends, and due to the recent stresses of his job he hasn't felt particularly compelled to go hunting. Likes a wide array of non-mainstream music.
Usage: 27 years, been in family for at least three generations.

Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5' 7" and 116 lbs. Brunette with red highlights and bright cyan eyes. Voluptuous build who wears conservative clothing outside of work.
Bio: Princilla lives in a three bedroom / two bathroom apartment with a friend named Julia Kleiton who works at the same job that Princilla does. Princilla's family life is pretty passive. Her parents don't approve of her job but don't outright tell that they disapprove, either. Her little brother, Terrance, has a crush on Julia. Princilla's current circle of friends all work at the same job she does and they often spend time together one or twice a week at the most. Princilla works at a prestigious restaurant called Victoria, where the waitresses dress in bunny girl costumes and serve italian cuisine.
Usage: Seven years.
