To name one I'm good at, and will soon make it to the top of this list, Yoshi (or Yoshish) can be very dangerous.

In order, Sheik (Ansatsu) is my third best. The way that she moves and her speed is just outragious, however I have a few losses under my belt with her.

Two would be Kirby, or in my case... THE SNOWBALL OF DOOM!! Not only is he well balanced, and have several mid air jumps to get back on the ledge, and a final triple jump incase you don't make it all the way, he can also absorb the attacks of your enemies. But, I've suffered a few losses with him

I'd like to annouce though that I have never lost as Luigi! LUIGI, people! C'mon... no one here uses Luigi? He is the best character out there, and the best part is, he doesn't mirror Mario anymore like in the old version.

There's a reason Luigi is the best character when the computer uses him, and that's because he has alot of offense. But like I said before, I think all the characters are very well balanced except Marth. Playing humans who use all the characters you just named gave varrying results, but I could beat them all. There was this one really good Yoshi guy one time...he kept beating everyone on 4v4 alot. But a quick switch to Link by me took care of him. -_-

Mr. Game and Watch is (IMHO) also a great character. He's a bit slow, but when you practice lots with him, learn his combos and quick attacks (mainly A+Down, not smash), the feeling you get for beating someone who thinks their 'all that' with a character most people don't usually choose is priceless.

Mewtwo. One of the best characters. I think he has probably the best throws in the game, his attacks are powerful, and also his attacks when he has a weapon are the best variety. I might be overexaggerating a little because I like his Running+A weapon attack...

Luigi is NOT the best when the computer uses him. Just punt him off a cliff and the CPU will use short B+side rocket attacks which invariably fail to get him where he needs to go, which is back on the stage. Humans usually charge up the rocket attack, or in some cases B+up is needed. But the AI never figures that out, and always plummets to its doom from being a moron.

Yes, but when he's on the ground, Luigi does everything right. So the amount of times he does act stupid when being thrown off the cliff gets made up for both because he can do really well at everything when he's not over the cliff and the fact that most people don't get him over the cliffs edge as often as most other characters.

Now mind you, I have days where I kill Luigi so much easier than others, but generally I've come to hear at tournaments and such that people thought, at least when they first got the game, that Luigi was the hardest one to play against. I know I was like this and more often than not, Luigi is the one who is able to kill me an extra KO or two more than the other characters the computer is using.

Shiek. He physical attacks kick ass. Also, I love her little poofy thingy where she teleports is awesome.

I like Roy. He's powerful and fast. Use forward+b with all the right timing, and you've a great combo. He's faster that Marth, and some of his attacks are stronger. Besides, how could you not like a guy who creates explosions with his sword? My second best varies between Link and Cfalcon becaous of Links power and CF's speed.

I'd agree with you, Kenyoku, about Luigi, except I that I can't use Luigi as good as the computor...

Now, about Roy and Marth. I find Marth is a bit faster for attacks (especially with a Bunny Hood, if you hadn't noticed his standard A attack goes almost twice as fast when he's wearing one), but Roy is a just a bit stronger (as far as I can see). IMO, Marth is generally better for veterans, and Roy is generally better for newer players. It all comes down to your personal opinion. Even though I am a good player and consider myself a veteran, I prefer Roy because I find that the attacks I use often with Roy/Marth are easier to use with Roy. And also the fiery attacks are too cool. :D
