Thumb Wars

ever see it, its a parody of Star Wars done completely with thumbs.

*death star attack run*
Loke: I'm gonna trust my feelings
Obi-dobi: The instument panel
Loke: Obi-dobi
Obi-dobi: use the instument panel, advance technology used to hit tiny targets... thats what its there for.

Black Helmet Man: any questions
Imerial officer: Yes I have a question. Why do we all speak in British accents when we are in space and there is no Britan
*Black Helmet Man raises hand, Officer's head pops off*

Yeah, I'll admit I've seen it. Fairly decent, with some very funny moments. There are other thumb movies, but they suck.

Wait, why is this posted here? This isn't right...

Well, it's technically not animation. Would it go under general?

Anyway, I really like Thumb Wars. I had it on VHS from where they played it on UPN a few years ago, but I lost the tape in multiple moves since then... But it was a really funny movie. Don't know about any other Thumb type movies though, haven't seen them.

I saw it. It sucked my left.

Aerozord 02-24-2004 09:28 PM

I am guessing this goes here. I they are still putting out more thumb movies, like ThumbMatrix (something like that).

Also the same people did kung-pow

Steve Oedkirk, or someguy. I think he is the brother of Bob Oedkirk, on Mr. SHow, but I'm not so sure. Anyway, you can find a lot of movies that Steve wrote for that are incredibly good, so I think hes a good writer, with the exception of Kung Pow (Brilliant idea, poor execution) and the latter thumb movies.

Also, just clarifying one thing I said earlier about the thumb movies sucking: thats based on the one I saw, so I'm not really in a position to judge. It was frankenthumb, and it wasn't that good, though a few parts were funny.

Steve Odekerk movies rock. I didn't like Frakenthumb much; Thumb Wars and Thumbtanic were far better. Kung Pow was schweet. I got the DVD. ^_^

Bob The Mercenary 02-25-2004 08:46 AM

My dad and I rented Kung Pow last year. We had to turn it off after 15 minutes. It was just...so bad. It wasn't even "so dumb it was funny". It was stupid.

Aerozord 02-25-2004 10:35 AM
